INSIDE THIS ISSUE In this month's issue of The Scorecard we have a very intriguing cover story on page 12 from Brad Ziemer on the latest development of a 'night golf ' layout getting set to open soon at the Delta Golf Course. The idea was borne out of an inspiration course owner Kuldeep Bansal had following one of his visits to Dubai and seeing how courses there had lights for night play. He felt it would be fun to try here and now that thought is about to become a reality. It's expected the idea will gain a lot of attention. Getting out to play golf at night will also give people more opportunities to improve their health & well-being as further proof of golf being a great way to get exercise. evidenced by the story on page 14 outlining how walking is making a comeback in the game. We also have a couple of ModGolf Podcast story links that you'll want to check out, page 28 tells about 'Mastering The Art of Nimble Amnesia' while page 38 introduces us to Chris Noble, PGA Of America Manager for Nextgengolf 's National High School Golf Association. Chris identifies as a gay male but he is so much more than that and the support of the the LGBTQ+ community he offers is just one aspect of his important role in the game. Lastly, we are saddened to once more have to pass along the news that golf has suffered further with the loss of 3 wonderful people as we pay tribute to Scott Vannatter (page 24), Lynne Powlik (page 30) and Helen Steeves (page 36).

In swelling numbers, golfers are spurning the motorized golf cart ? a standard-bearer of golf rounds for more than 50 years ? and instead choosing to stride or stroll from shot to shot.
