INSIDE THIS ISSUE

In this issue of The Scorecard our cover story acknowledges the 3 players from BCwho were chosen as PNGA Players of the Year. Eight different categories were voted on for POY, from Junior to Senior. That story can be found on page 12. Big congratulations go out to Surrey, BC's Adam Svensson as he picked up his first PGA TOURwin at the RSM Classic played in Sea Island, GA. Svensson, a former BC Junior and BCAmateur Champion, now qualifies for the 2023 Masters among other benefits. You can read Brad Ziemer's report on page 36 as part of his BCGolf Notes. Great news for golf 'junkies' in Vancouver and area as The Golf Expo is making its return to the Lower Mainland at Abbotsford's Tradex Centre. See details about that event on

page 14. Golf video games have become incredibly realistic as the technology has grown and a major player in that industry happens to be a Canadian company. The new 2K23 PGA TOURgolf video game features Tiger Woods on the cover. Read about that on page 24. We also have a recap of the Golf Canada Amateur Championship season in which BCand its competitors feature quite prominently. Sadly we must also report on the loss of a tremendously impactful, respected and cared for figure in golf and tourism in BCas Web Advisor marketing founder Trisha Larsen passed away following a battle with pancreatic cancer. Brad Ziemer pays tribute to Trisha on page 28.
