West Vancouver?s Jennifer Gu Goes W ire-To-W ire To W in B.C. Junior Girls Championship Jennifer Gu played 'catch me if you can' all week with the rest of the field at the B.C. Junior Girls Championship. It turns out no one could. The 18-year-old from West Vancouver went wire-to-wire to win the championship at Morningstar Golf Club as she bounced back from a tough runner-up finish at the recent B.C. Women?s Amateur Championship in Summerland. INSIDE GOLF

Junior Boys Championship In the hundreds of rounds that Gavyn Knight has played over the years at Morningstar Golf Club, he has learned where to hit the ball and, perhaps more importantly, where not to hit it. He used all that local knowledge to his advantage and won the biggest tournament of his life on July 2nd, the B.C. Junior Boys Championship. INSIDE GOLF

With temperatures soaring above 41 degrees Celsius, a field of talented young golfers between the ages of six and twelve competed for titles in six divisions on the Maple Leaf Junior Golf Tour at the MJT Mini Tour at Cultus Lake Golf Club in Cultus Lake, BC, June 27. Due to the unusually hot temperatures, the MJT Tournament Committee shortened the original 18-hole competition to nine holes for the players. INSIDE GOLF

Conner Kozak and Rob Anderson each fired 5-under-par final rounds of 67 at Kamloops Golf & Country Club to win the PGA of BC Assistants?& Seniors?Championships presented by Natera Sport & Arbor Memorial, respectively.
