Davison Wins Points List, Captures Player Of The Year Award, Earns Exemption Into RBC Canadian Open Even though he got a late start on the 2021 Mackenzie Tour ? PGA TOUR Canada season, Callum Davison made up for lost time by playing consistent, sometimes dominant, golf in his five Tour starts. Including his ninth-place finish at the season finale, the Reliance Properties DCBank Open presented by Times Colonist, Davis finished with 1,244.19 points to outdistance No. 2 Blair Bursey by 193.19 points to capture the Points List title and Player of the Year honors. Kennedy Claims PGA of BC Women?s Championship Kat Kennedy?s steady play over two days at Northview Golf & Country Club led to her first professional victory as she captured top spot in the PGA of BC Women?s Championship presented by Dexim Golfwear. Despite a windy and rainy final round to the 36-hole, stableford-scoring tournament, Kennedy (Point Grey Golf & Country Club) matched the 33-point performance she put up in the opening round to take the title with a 66-point total. Winners Announced On The 2021 MJT Order Of Merit Presented By RBC The Maple Leaf Junior Golf Tour (MJT) is pleased to announce that the 2021 MJT Order of Merit presented by RBC has concluded with the winners recognized accordingly. The MJT Order of Merit is a year-long race where young golfers are awarded points in their respective age division, based on their finish in each of the ranked MJT events they compete in during the season. MJT members are ranked both provincially and nationally, identifying the top junior talent in the country. INSIDE GOLF

Golf Canada Presidents Continue Serving The Game With most of its American rules officiating crew unable to join them for the altered 2021 Mackenzie Tour ? PGA Tour Canada season, the organization turned to some very reliable sources for help. In addition to more than a dozen rules experts who lent their services at various times at all eight 2021 Mackenzie Tour tournaments, four others may have been even a little more well-known than the rest. This quartet consisted of past Golf Canada (formerly Royal Canadian Golf Association) presidents, along with the organization?s current vice president, and they all kindly stepped in to help save the cross-country, COVID-affected campaign.
