M idsomer Norton Primary School pupils have been learning about putting together and publishing their own magazine, MNPS News at their weekly Magazine Club.

The club is run by Mrs Josham and together, the pupils have learned how to create eye catching headlines, set out articles and how to conduct an interview. Since its launch, the children have not only improved their literacy skills but have also grown in confidence and have really enjoyed being given responsibilities and titles, much like you would at a real newspaper.

As well as utilising the children’s writing skills, photography and speaking talents have also been improved.
