NEWS FROM THE STATION

Having let our volunteers have a well-earned rest following the wonderful Santa events during December and our Mince Pie Special on New Year’s Day, we are getting ready for the start of the new season.

The DMU (the green one) and our diesel shunters – hauling our heritage red coaches – will share the duties of locomotion over the early part of the season.

Our Wickham trolley will operate every Wednesday during all school holidays from Easter across the season. Come for a ride and see the railway from a different perspective.

Our buffet car will be open for light refreshments (hot and cold drinks, sandwiches, pasties, cake, ice cream) every Sunday all through the season from 24th March, on Wickham Wednesdays and for any special events. Our friendly catering team will be delighted to welcome you.

Last but not least have a look in our shop and second hand emporium for book and gift ideas.

SPECIAL EVENT – Olde time musical evening put on by Bath Gilbert & Sullivan Society.

Sunday 16th June

Fathers’ Day. Why not treat your dad – or yourself - and try driving one of our diesel shunters along the line during our 30-minute driver experience sessions – all bookable online. Guests can travel in the brake van behind if they wish (a small charge will apply).
