eep and fast are becoming the imperatives of environmental policy. Deep, as governments and corporations are setting increasingly ambitious targets
for greenhouse gas emission cuts. Fast, as recognition grows that the rate of progress in emission reduction is falling short of what is required to stay within manageable warming levels. To address the challenge, many different technologies and policies will be required, and gas—in its many forms-- has an important and unique role to play, a role that needs to be more widely recognised. Gas can help in a variety of forms as regular natural gas, biomethane, hydrogen, ammonia and synthetic natural gas.
