The convention will run from November 7 to 9, with the trade show to be held on November 8 at the Marriott Hotel in downtown Louisville. This event is the largest gathering of independent insurance agents, agency principals, owners and their support staff in the Commonwealth of Kentucky.

This year a two and a half hour time block has been exclusively reserved as exhibit time, providing attendees and exhibitors with ample time to network and showcase products and services. In addition, the exhibit hall is open to members and non-members alike providing you with an opportunity to market to a large pool of potential customers and clients.

The trade show has been specifically configured to provide exhibitors with optimum room and advantage in targeting the people you would like to attract to your products and services.

Exhibitor Services The official exhibitor contractor is Excel Decorators, Inc. Upon receipt of your Exhibit Space Registration Form and exhibitor registration fee, you will receive additional information in an Exhibitor’s Service Manual from Excel Decorators, Inc. Electricity and additional equipment and services may be obtained by contacting Excel Decorators, Inc. directly.

Exhibitor Cancellations Cancellation of an exhibitor registration of this trade show must be made in writing to IIAK. Exhibit registration fees for cancellations received by September 7, 2012, are fully refundable. Fees for cancellations received between September 21 and October 5, 2012, will be refunded less a $150.00 processing charge. Fees for cancellations received after October 5, 2012, will not be refunded.

Convention Registration Registration for the convention itself is not included in the exhibit registration fee. While exhibitors are not required to register for the convention, they must register as an attendee if they wish to participate in convention functions and activities. There is a separate registration form to be able to attend the convention events.

Convention Headquarters & Hotel Reservations The hotel headquarters for the 116th IIAK Annual Convention & Trade Show is the Marriott Hotel in downtown Louisville, KY. Room reservations should be made by calling 1-800-2669432 . The hotel room rate is $132.00 (plus taxes) single/ double. Guests should request the Independent Insurance Agents room block to take advantage of this special room rate. The cut-off date for this room rate is October 12, 2012. Reservations received after this date is subject to availability at the hotel’s prevailing rates.
