Hutong is the representative of Beijing culture, it is a special urban texture. With the change of time, Hutong has changed from adapting to the local humanities to being unsuitable for people to live now. The user population has changed from all ages to the elderly. In the process of generating, starting from spontaneous architecture, it is found that architecture should be changed over time. Combined with the development of current big data, it is possible to produce, analyze and use data, thereby improving, and reciprocating a dynamic city.

There is a popular saying in Beijing that "the rich don't live in the southeast house, and the east is warm but not cool in summer". This custom is also reflected in the urban planning of Beijing. From the Yuan Dynasty, the Beijing city has undergone strict planning control. Later, the Beijing city in the Ming and Qing Dynasties was developed on the basis of the Yuan Dynasty. To this day, Beijing City still basically maintains this checkerboard layout. But before the emperor’s notice in Beijing, it was a higher-level planning command that controlled the development of the city, but the generation of courtyards was bottom-up. People built them according to their true and unique self-needs, and the term “private construction and disorderly construction” came into being. Because there is no unified plan and form, the city will appear to be crowded and chaotic. The government believes that it will affect the appearance of the city and needs to be demolished.

Transmission space

This space is a buffer space that connects storage and production. Every 30 degrees of rotation of the storage space, the crawler in the upper transportation space can be transmitted.

Material storage room

The circular outdoor space that goes up with the spiral staircase is for the elderly to move around.

This space is used to store the raw materials needed to make boxes. They are classified according to different functions, including electrical appliances, furniture, cardboard, acrylic and other types.

Viewing platform

The top is composed of data receiving device and viewing platform. The receiving space at the top is to recover the usage data of the installed boxes, so as to monitor the usage frequency of the boxes in real time, and modify the produced boxes.

The theater industry is gradually weakening, performance groups are shrinking, and the number of audiences is declining year by year. "No one wants to watch" has created "self-denial" in the hearts of opera actors. More and more opera actors are reluctant to perform again, leaving the stage where they were once passionate. We hope to use our limited architectural vocabulary to intervene, focus on the present, based on the original, guard the old things, and rejuvenate.

The stage on the critical street of the old and new blocks is the only ancient building sandwiched by two new buildings.

In order to make the whole unobtrusive, wooden components are used for filling, while the appearance is consistent, the wood echoes the ancient stage.

Attached to the stage is the use space, which is connected in series according to the sequence of the storyline, so that the actors can experience the highlight moments of themselves when they are performing the Dream of the Red Chamber.

SPLIT

Acadamic Project

Fall 2020

Individual Work Instructor: Hanke Jiang

Site:Dongfeng Street,Lvyuan District,Changchun

The industrial boom after World War II brought employment opportunities to many people, especially in Changchun No. 1 Automobile Plant. With the advent of the era of automation, the number of workers has plummeted, demand in the service industry has increased, and market demands have changed. However, workers who have worked their entire lives have been tightened by mechanized work. Their single action will not take the initiative to explore new things.

Social integration was first proposed by the French sociologist Durkheim, which refers to the process and result of combining different elements and parts of society into a unified and coordinated whole. So I want to use the idea of mechanical integration and organic integration to break the impact of age, road, and time on urban activities. To create a space for workers who can help solidify their minds to provide diversified life exploration and adapt to the advent of the era of big data.

In the west of the railroad track is mostly the activity place for the elderly, and the park is a frequent spot for the elderly. They chat and play chess inside, so they chose South Lake Park next to the old staff dormitory.

OLD FACTORY

SITE 2 Old Staff Dormitory

The old staff dormitory of FAW is a semi-enclosed community. The houses have the highest five floors and are generally low-rise buildings. The enclosed yard allows everyone to have rich communication space, but the privacy space is weak.

REDIDENTIAL

SITE 3 Old Factory

The old FAW factory is now dominated by unused buildings. Most of the workers have moved to the new factory. The new factory is an automated factory and does not require many workers. The old factory has tracks inside, and now the railway is abandoned.

SITE 4 Redidential

Most of the new residential areas are arranged. Compared with the old staff dormitories, the new residential areas have improved people's privacy, but lack of space for communication activities, and the neighborhoods are very strange.

THE VISION OF UNIVERSITY OF THE FUTURE IN THE KOREAN AUTONOMOUS PREFECTURE

Aiming at the design of the future campus——Future campus in the Internet age, more and more students are paying more attention to the closest self or the most distant large-scale world from them, and they are at one of these two extremes. The inter-part-campus life and group relations are hidden, and the "nearby" gradually disappears.

04
17

According to the regionality of the campus, this paper explores the history and culture, settlement and characteristics of different regions , abstractions the architectural form and spatial manipulation places the life form, interpersonal relationship mode and interaction between families in Korean folk houses into the space, recreates such a kind of life and spatial experience, recovers the "vanishing neighborhood", and also makes the architecture rooted in the local soil.

·Vanishing Vicinity

In the future campus in the Internet era, more and more students will pay more attention to the closest to themselves or the most distant large-scale world, while the part between the two extremes -- campus life and group relationship is hidden, and the "nearby" gradually disappears.

·The evolution of the Korean function space

border

The proportion of ethnic minorities in Yanbian University is relatively large, and the proportion of Korean and Chinese characters is 3:7, so we chose this area for research. The four houses in question are the Academy of Arts, the Academy of Fine Arts, the Korean Academy of Korean Studies, and the National Music Plaza. So we chose to build between these four buildings.
