HE Nafada Emirate Council recently turbanned Gombe State Governor, Muhammad Danjuma Goje, as the Jarman Nafada thus making it his 20th chieftaincy titles conferred on him from across the country within the eight years that he has served as chief executive of the state. Speaking during the ceremony at his palace, the Emir of Nafada, Alhaji Dadum Hamza, said the prestigious title was not conferred on the governor until after due consultations among the king makers of the Emirate. The monarch, who was recently elevated to the status of a first class Emir, also said tha t Danjuma Goje deserved the honour conferred on him by the Emirate, considering the volume of projects executed by his administration in the area. He also commended the Governor for restoring lasting peace in the area after yearly invasion of his domain by Udawa Fulani marauders, urging him to keep the tempo at which peaceful co-existence was maintained in the stale. While speaking at the occasion. Governor Danjuma Goje said the recent upgrade of Emirs and Chiefs in the state were in recognition of" I .
