Briefly Kwara govt urged to release N33,9m bursary allowance STUDENTS of Kwara State origin in the Nigeria Law Schools have appealed to the state government to release the approved N33 .9 million meant as bursary allowance for 164 students (Batch A and B 2010). This was contained in a press statement issued by the president of the association, Mallam Jimoh Saka Agaka, ,a copy- of which was made available to the Nigerian Tribune on Sunday. The statement added that the Kwara State gov-, ernment had not also paid N250, 000 to the lawyers in training as bursary awards. The president said that as of today, no money was paid to the 2009/ 2010 set "currently on court attachment. He posited ·that the . money was appropriated for the payment to indigent students in the Nigeria Law Schools in the 2010 budget but sadly the money .was never released to the students despite the approval from the state government. .
