Supply Chain Management is relatively new however it’s meaning has taken a shift from being a theoretical approach to tackle
logistical problems to a modern solution for burgeoning trade globally. SCM is defined as the encapsulation of all the activities in
manufacturing a product/service from sourcing of raw materials to the final delivery to the customer keeping in mind the aim of
making the whole process cost efficient, resourceful and laborsaving while meeting the demands of the people involved in it.
