MSRs have been in presence since the 1960s, however, it is as yet not used to its maximum capacity and the research with respect to
the enormous scope of utilization of these reactors has been constrained. Yet, since the 1960s there has been a ton of progress to
make the reactor protected, dependable, and maintainable. MSRs have numerous safety benefits over customary LWRs and other
conventional reactors, for example, the low-pressure piping, negative void, passive shutdown capacity, and chemically stable
coolant. Most of the early work on these plans focused on part lifetime, explicitly, making composites prepared to keep up their
mechanical and material honesty in corrosive radioactive salts.
