Invention, solutions, précision : concentré sur la réponse à des questions fonctionnelles, Lexon traduit un esprit du temps en matières et en formes. Imagination, variations, excitation : ces objets composent une partition utilitaire au dessin multicolore. Les fragments d’une histoire : l’aventure qui parle d’outils et de petits instruments destinés au bureau et aux espaces domestiques, d’accessoires efficaces en relation avec notre mobilité. Constamment enthousiaste, la démarche de Lexon est portée par une ambition : transformer les environnements quotidiens, l’espace de nos gestes et les émotions générées par les objets qui nous y accompagnent.

Invention, solutions, precision: focused on answering to functional issues, Lexon translates a zeitgeist into material and shapes. Imagination, variations, excitement: these objects read as a multicolored utilitarian score. The fragments of a peculiar history: a journey which tells about tools and other small instruments for the office and the house, efficient accessories related to our mobility. Constantly enthusiastic, Lexon’s attitude is supported by an ambition: transform our daily environments, the space of our moves and the emotions driven by these objects which stand so close to us.

La passion du mouvement nous anime. Un mouvement sans repos, propre au design, et un mouvement, propre à Lexon, qui est l’appétit pour l’évolution constante. Il est signalé par la présence de trois collections désormais distinctes : l’horlogerie et le bagage se séparent de l’espace du bureau par des catalogues spécifiques. L’ampleur prise par les gammes et l’expérience acquise sur chacun de ces terrains rend possible et souhaitable le développement de leurs identités propres. Elle permet de souligner dans le même temps la précision des solutions apportées à chaque domaine de manière particulière.

A passion for movement inspires us. A restless mobility, one that belongs to design in a large manner. An appetite for permanent motion which is Lexon’s own: it is noticeable through our three new collections, now distinctively branded: Lexon Time (watches) Lexon Travel (luggage) got a catalogue of their their own, apart from the home and office accessories, Lexon Objects. As the collections got wider, and our knowledge on each and every field, it made this move as desirable as it became possible. At the same time, it allows to underline the precision we managed to introduce to each of these fields in a singular way.

La cohérence des différentes collections se retrouvera d’abord dans l’attention prêtée au service et à l’usage. L’écriture Lexon se construit dans ses différentes applications sur des fondements volontairement simples : la sensibilité mise en oeuvre par le travail des designers est toujours préoccupée d’efficacité. Susciter l’envie s’inscrit dans les perspectives précises de la vie, celle que mènera l’objet entre les mains de son utilisateur. C’est de cette manière que nous ne cessons d’avancer.

2. lexon

The different collections will first testify of their coherence through the attention paid to the way they are to be used. A Lexon’s writing built upon bases that are willingly simple: designer’s sensitivity is in the first place focused on an efficiency issue. As far as we are concerned, raising excitement toward an object relates to the precise perspectives of life itself, that of the item we imagined, in its user’s hands. This is our way never to stop going forward.

2012 travel Porter et transporter. Favoriser un usage aisé, sans altérer les fonctions de protection. Cacher, sans anéantir les qualités de personnalité. Les lignes de bagage Lexon traduisent précisément quelques impératifs élémentaires : légèreté et résistance, protection et élégance, facilité d’emploi. C’est un camouflage urbain aux accents raffinés, ou la versatilité n’entame pas la rigueur. Le bagage évite l’éclat décoratif, choisissant plutôt les qualités intrinsèques du matériau. Dès que possible, il y intègre des variables environnementales, en tenant toujours compte des conditions d’usage. Il prévoit les difficultés rencontrées et anticipe les fragilités - fondé sur l’expérience, ce bagage a du métier. Il réconcilie l’emploi efficace qu’exige le transport, avec l’élégance du vêtement. To carry and to transport. To move. Thinking of a use which would be easier, as well a being careful not to alter protective functions. Hiding, but not deleting the product personality. Lexon luggage lines precisely translate a large amount of elementary requirements: lightness and sturdiness, protection and elegance, intuitive handling. It is an urban camouflage bearing refined accents, versatile and rigorous at the same time. Luggage that avoids decorative fireworks, rather focusing on intrinsic properties of the material used. As soon as it gets possible, it would include environmental concerns, taking into accounts its user’s modes. It foresees troubles and anticipates frailties - based on a long experience, this luggage reflects our knowledge: it aims at reconciling hard edge efficiency and clothing elegance.
