HISTORIC ANALYSIS
I n a n c i e n t t i m e s, Y i x i n g w a s n at i o n a l l y acknowledged for producing top-grade red stoneware. Yixing red stoneware businessmen sell their products via river course passing through the city to every corner of China. Time flies and everything has changed. Nowadays, the red stoneware industry is undertaking its increasing declination, worsened by decreasing numbers of handicraftsmen, increasingly d ege n e rat e d e nv i ro n m e n t a n d gra d u a l l y desolated commercial street. I hope that through my design, I can provide a beautiful environment, bring people closer together as well as revive Yixing’s red stoneware industry as a city label.

The cultural brand of red stoneware constitutes unique local features l i ke s o c i a l n e t wo rks, t ra d i t i o n continuation, history accumulation and so on. In the so-called SpaceTime Compressed post-modern social network proposed by David Harvey, it is these local features that can reshape the brand meaning of Yixing red stoneware. TEGY
Based on the BOX Model, my design aims to achieve the preservation, repair, conservationďźŒ i m p rove m e n t a n d rev i t a l i z at i o n o f t h e l o c a l community. First, I intend to connect two important points and then expand to the whole district by a water channel. Emphasizing the links between landscape architecture and culture, I hope that BOX Model can protect the local culture and develop the red stoneware industry, which can attract foreign and domestic tourists while evoking the collective memory of the local residents. I think it shows respect for history and most importantly a vision for the future.

[Internet+ Life] Spaces feature uniqueness and independence. I would like to employ some reorganization means to rejuvenate their new vitality and endue them with more vibrant colors. Just like the Internet, spaces are tightly linked together.Meanwhile, my design plan gives full play to the internet function in the allocation of social resources for optimization and integration so as to promote the vitality of the market of traditional industries and provide broad network platform for reform, innovation and development. However, the collision between tradition and modernity is inevitable. This plan focuses on the result of the collision, namely the networked and mechanized interpersonal relationships against Internet +background; and it will provide a new living-space model to reconnect people. Like spring effect, the integral gurgling spring obtain its vitality not by individual force but by several springs, with multiple spring serving as center points and contributing their respective influential domain.

THE COMMUNICATION PROBLEM?
HISTORICAL CHANGES/ SPATIAL PATTERN The initial village is originally s c at t e re d a ro u n d t h e o l d Longjing district and then gradually expanded outside. It gained its further development when the tap water system was built. The Internet originated in Europe and has gradually shaped the global development of multi-polarization. The u p s - a n d - d o w n s p at t e r n o f village and development of the internet has inspired us to abandon the old concept of a single site. Instead, a centre with concentrated functions is determined and meanwhile expand several basic points to enlarge the influential domain of different function areas. In the process of referring to radiation patterns of the internet and studying on changes of village development, the designing site is changing at a dynamic level accordingly.

Suzhou Museum | By Krystal Chen (Iphone 5)
[Collision between Modernization and Classicism] Designed by Leoh Ming Pei, Suzhou Museum is separated from his former residence Lion Garden (the classical gardens of Suzhou) only by a wall. As an interwoven art product of modernization and classicism, Suzhou Museum has its unique charm. By exploring the essence of China's classical gardens, I hope to experience the secret within them and deepen my recognition and understanding modern parks and insights.
layout of water
Basis for Selection of Garden Location Na-lan Hsing-te(A famous poet in China Ch'ing dynasty) was acknowledged in history for his nobility of manner and his ardent love for natural landscape, which determined his choice of building garden on the western outskirts of Beijing. The garden is near Fragrance Hill and Kunming Lake, forming a natural pattern of terraced hills and sprinkling water, which endows the garden with booming vitality.
stone arrangement
Artistic Conception of Garden Building Na-lan Hsing-te had deep fondness for pure water and elegant lotus. In traditional Chinese culture, water is considered to be a vital form with lofty character. Many Chinese literary works often compare water's lofty character as gentleman's noble manner. Water moistens everything with its softness; also it comes and goes in an endless flow. The ancient Chinese empowered a philosophical connotation in water from both rational and emotional views. The loft character of water is particularly thought highly of by Na-lan Hsing-te. Therefore, Jade Bi Yi Garden(Jade Ripple Garden) comprehensively reflects Na-lan Hsing-te's noble virtues, fondness of poems and nature-loving character. Concerning its Chinese meaning, Bi Yi means pure water, simple and quiet life as well as self-constraint. With water surrounded as company, recuperating and relaxing in this garden, Na-lan Hsing-te wrote his poems and lyrics, read classics and history, compiled his books. Meanwhile, he often invited literary guests to the garden for poetry appreciation.

Blues
Jazz
The spirits of blues music stands for a free and unconstrained mental state. With its core lying in originality and impromptus, blues music emphasizes the catharsis of personal emotion, which determines its blue-mood keynote. However, its confession of personal innermost feelings represents a rebelling spirit to the mainstream music. The free crisscross lines is the logo of freedom symbolizing its essence as free music in the constrained world while the random circles scattered around the lines indicates the variety of blues music.
Jazz music features complexity and diversity. The crisscross lines in the picture seem as if the layout of a tidy square, brimming with towering skyscrapers, energetic dancing halls, jazz music bands and flowing crowds in street ambilights. The lines and diamond have an interlinked emotional correlation, enhanced by some kind of unprecedented new spirit. The inspired is from Mondrian's classic works Broadway Boogie-Woogie.
Electronic Music
Rock and Roll
Any electronic sound of music composed by instruments like electronic synthesizer and effector, computer music software or drum machine can reasonably be called electronic music. The crisscross turning lines seems electronic music waves as well as an integral part of a circuit board, brimming with a sense of modernization. With spiritually shocking sound waves, electronic music can directly reach your inner world.
Rock music is flexible and audacious, with p a s s i o n at e m u s i c r h y t h m s e x p re s s i n g emotion. As a music form full of passion and enthusiasm, rock music has obtained great popularity among young people in the world. As a symbol of rebelling youthfulness, rock music helps release passion of summer. A Music Festival is always dominated by crazy bands and shouting crowds, with blooded youth casting their enthusiasm toward the main stage and boogieing and singing crazily.
