to support them with their Sugar Import Contract.

Buyer’s Requirement

A UAE Buyer decided to import 50,000 MT Sugar from a Brazilian Supplier. To secure this trade transaction, the buyer & the seller

mutually agreed to use Standby Letter of Credit as their Payment Term.

The Role We Played

With the SBLC Request, the UAE Buyer contacted us. Since the buyer complies

with all our terms, we approved their request and agreed to issue the SBLC.

We played the role of applicant with our Bank & get the SBLC issued from our rated

European Bank on behalf of the buyer.

Successful Issuance of SBLC

Our Bank issued the SBLC on behalf of the buyer and in favor of the supplier. After receiving the SBLC, the supplier started the first shipment of sugar to the buyer’s destination port!
