Concrete and measurable sustainability
Sustainability is a strategic asset for EF Contract. In 2023 the group will publish its first Sustainability Report, and will continue to invest to be responsible and competitive at the same time. In a market of three-dimensional communication that requires partners to make concrete commitments in the direction of sustainability, EF Contract responds with a program that does not address only materials and consumption, but also extends to social and governance principles of the company. Certifications represent an ID card with which to enter large and multinational corporations through the front door. They are the factor that encourages change throughout the value chain. Two recent examples of the commitment of EF Contract: in the project conducted for Lavazza, from 2020 to 2022, a specialized agency measured the carbon footprint, finding it reduced by 14%; while all the furnishings for the retailer JT International are free of glue, assembled with interlocks, where the PVC utilized is of vegetable origin and recyclability reaches almost 100%.
Contract and communication
For the Lavazza Museum, in collaboration with the RAA studio in London, designers of the project, EF Contract put all of its expertise to use in the working of materials, the creation of spatial geometries, the implementation of lighting systems and the creation of perfect custom logistics structures in the spaces. All with installations and settings that range from professional to playful, physical to virtual. EF Contract’s sensibility regarding materials is matched here by knowledge of the digital dimension, in an effective combination of great impact. The result is a stimulating spatial pathway.
