The new headquarters of Fameccanica, made from A to Z by the Turin-based contractor, is the practical and ideal representation of the capacity to deploy refined technical design. A major “aerial” effort, with structures that have not only the task of interrupting and formulating spaces, but also of becoming elements of interior and exterior architecture.

A technical lighting project that chooses the path of understatement, without compromises on the insertion of light & tech décor in perfect harmony with the company’s core business. A design entirely organized in shades of white and gray with green inserts, confirming the efficacy of the cross-strategy approach of EF Contract.

Temporary since 1929, contemporary since 1929

EF Contract also has expertise and ability in the field of temporary architecture. At the Fuorisalone in the Tortona district, for Peugeot Design Lab the firm produced a spectacular technological system of cables – in connection with a pianoforte – that lit up and changed color in relation to the music played on the instrument.

Born as a “physical” company, EF Contract has rapidly adapted to the times and the changes in progress.

To stay in step with clients belonging to increasingly “digitaloriented” sectors – especially those of automotive products and eyewear – EF Group has developed in-house expertise in order to successfully deploy digital channels as a tool of communication of the firm’s projects, and as a key factor in client relations. The result is “phygital”: a perfect mixture for coordinated and successful communication.

In 2023 EF Contract, for a Swiss company, will create a set of over 2000 square meters and its perfect digital version: a digital twin, a precise copy but in a virtual, live and interactive dimension, where it will be possible to interact on all levels.

Design speaks to the world

EF Contract, with its standard of excellence, is behind the implementation of D Studio, the new and innovative flagship store in Milan of B&B Italia, together with the sister companies Flos, Azucena, Arclinea, Maxalto and Louis Poulsen. This is a work of great precision, in perfect harmony with the architecture by Locatelli & Partners and the interior set-up created by Piero Lissoni. Here EF Contract has made the divider structures for the spaces, partitions and many horizontal elements made to measure to display the complements of the companies in the group. All the custom structures reveal and enhance the professional know-how of EF Contract.
