A2 Photography Final Piece

Page 1

You spat at me with your venom,

Yet here I still remain

And look at what I’ve now become...

I’ll never be the same.

You buried me down, soon enough.

‘Til I suffocated...

Six feet under. There helplessly

‘Til I pried my wing free.

Phoenixes rise from the ashes,

And here I stand with you.

Covered with every word you threw:

Only strengthens my wings.

If I sang my song to you now

I doubt that you would hear...

You follow the path my ashes

Left. Stuck there by yourself.

I’ll take the fledglings from the ashes,

And take your venom from them.
