It takes a lot of courage and determination to start a business from the ground level. With a little experience and Rs. 50,000/- which he profited from a random order of manufacturing gonis, Mr. Parashar G Trivedi, the man behind NiceG, started an import business in the early ’90s. The company was doing fine until it saw a downfall in the company that forced Mr. Trivedi to shut down the business.

“The time was difficult. There was no way we could keep running the firm so, we had to shut down the import business. ” , says Divya, Mr. Trivedi’s daughter who happened to have joined NiceG as the third Director in 2017. “Papa borrowed some money from people and bought a manufacturing factory in Ahmedabad in the year 2000. ” , Divya unfolds.

Fast forward 22 years, NiceG stands as a pioneer manufacturer and exporter under the competent directorship of Mr. Trivedi, his wife Mrs. Rekha Trivedi, and his daughter Ms. Divya Trivedi.

“We take great pleasure in introducing ourselves as one of the pioneer manufacturers and exporters of comfort wear i.e., workwear, coverall, boiler suits, uniform & complete climate control wear i.e., rainwear, winter wear, protective garments, reflective & high visible outerwear, snowfall jackets, garments based at Ahmedabad, India.

The company, which was essentially started as a manufacturing company for rainwear and winter wear has now grown to have three fully functional factories in 2 states. “The factories operate in Ahmedabad, Gujarat and Sagwara, Rajasthan. Moreover, at the beginning of this year, we have also branched out in branded bags and apparel industry. ” , Divya continues.

The factories also house automatic machines made in Japan to manufacture high-quality finished goods for domestic as well as the export market at an extremely competitive rate. Professional employees specifically trained to manufacture more than 2000 sets per day using high-quality raw materials add to the strength of the company.

Like any other aspiring business, NiceG also comes across hurdles and challenges. Divya talks about a few that surface frequently. “We usually have to deal with the shortage in supply of raw materials, increase in the cost of raw materials, pressure to meet environmental norms, infrastructure bottlenecks etc. ” , she admits, “We try to overcome these challenges by exploring untapped markets of the global textile and apparel industry. We’ve also started to diversify our product portfolio to capitalize on the potential market opportunities. “At NiceG we believe in turning every challenge into an opportunity.

NiceG caters to any younger consumer who is driven towards high quality and style and is willing to accept the brand positively. Keeping them satisfied is another challenge for the brand but a necessary one.
