STADIA AND THE NEW FAN EVOLVING THE USER EXPERIENCE
PROGRAM
The Allerton Traveling Fellowship is an award from the Illinois School of Architecture to travel the country and study a style of architecture. I chose to study stadia design and look at the impact of how a stadium's location can change the fan experience for pre-game, game, and post-game. I was exposed to many different styles, functions, budgets, locations, and how seismic design can seamlessly be included in a venue. This project will serve as a background for my sports and entertainment focus upon entering Graduate School in August of 2016.

Bringing Fans Back to Stadia
Technology in Future Stadiums
By integrating the "new" stadium into the urban fabric and multi-use development, fans will have more of a reason to leave their home.
Don't want to leave your seat? Use your personal device to order food, memorabilia, and post to social media to interact with the team and other fans.
