URBAN DEVELOPMENT
[Not all who wander are lost] In planning my trip, I put a lot of thought into what it was that I done in Culver City – there was much to study for any architectural ment. What I sought after was finding architecture that was either we are lost. Sometimes we need to explore curiosities. Often times,
wanted to take away and learn from architecture on the Californian coast. With a diverse range of architectural styles – from Spanish electric to the innovative work being enthusiast. However, for fear of being too narrow minded and missing out on a broader perspective; I decided to study the bigger picture of California’s urban develophistoric, innovative, or is an iconic, cultural landmark. Going back to the quote from J.R.R. Tolkien, sometimes in life, we may not seem to have direction, but doesn’t mean that the value is in the journey, not the destination. In my travels, I observed architecture that was unlike anything here in the Midwest; often times very complex and responsive to
not only the urban environment, but as well as to the natural environment. The insight I gained with not only the architecture of CA, but as well as the heightened awareness of different urban issues was invaluable.
