From Gus Bender, Illinois Youth Soccer President

The Spring season is in full swing and I hope that you’re off to a great start. We are excited about the new additions to the Illinois Youth Soccer Board of Directors, Jake Mooney and Dale Litney.

We have launched several new events including the expanded Illinois Cup that offers teams who haven’t played in State Cup or Presidents Cup the opportunity to compete in a state-wide competition and our Spring Soccer Festival for our youngest membership that focuses on the fun of soccer on and off the pitch.

We are using new technology to publish this digital Spring Team and Tournament Guide. Along with our presence on social media, our mobile app via TeamApp and our information-filled website, we continue to look for ways to provide information to our members as easily as possible. Going forward we will use this digital platform even more in order to make these interactive piece more useful to you as you navigate the soccer season. -Gus Bender, Illinois Youth Soccer President
