Every day of the year Amagerforbrændingen relieve the inhabitants and companies of the five capital municipalities Dragør, Frederiksberg, Hvidovre, Copenhagen and Tårnby of their waste and supply energy to their households in return. In total this amounts to 420,000 tons of waste which is converted into electricity and district heating supplying approximately 100,000 households.
