Negli anni trascorsi dipingendo mi sono sentito ripetere parecchie volte da amici, parenti e fidanzate che quello che facevo non aveva senso. Più o meno nessuno ha mai colto il punto dietro il mio amore per i graffiti. Ho perso gran parte degli amici che non dipingevano perchè in fondo in fondo trovavano noioso o incomprensibile il mio modo di passare i weekend, sicuramente mi sono giocato varie fidanzate, stanche di essere messe dopo i graffiti; dei parenti è più difficile sbarazzarsi quindi, grazie al cielo, continuano a sopportare la cosa, anche se non sempre in maniera rilassata. Tutto, a detta loro, per un hobby senza capo né coda, con più svantaggi che benefici.

Over the years I spent painting many friends, relatives and girlfriends told me several times that what I was doing made no sense. Pretty much no one has ever understood the point behind my love for graffiti. I lost a lot of friends who are not writers because my way to spend weekends seemed really boring or incomprehensible to them. I broke with various girlfriends, tired of being second to the graffiti thing. It is more difficult to get rid of the relatives and so, thanks God, they continue to stand me, even if not always in a easy way. Everything, according to them, for a pointless hobby, with more disadvantages than benefits.

Negli anni trascorsi dipingendo mi sono reso conto che probabilmente il mondo più vicino ai graffiti è quello dei tifosi da stadio, pur non amando particolarmente il calcio. Ogni domenica sugli spalti a soffrire per la propria squadra che si trovi in serie A, B o Z. Domenica dopo domenica. Probabilmente le mogli li molleranno perchè passano più tempo incollati allo schermo con la moviola che con le loro famiglie, gli amici (tranne gli irriducibile della curva) li pianteranno in asso avendo trovato di meglio da fare che guardare undici scemi muscolosi in braghini e di certo le loro famiglie continueranno a considerarli bambinoni mai cresciuti. Non ci guadagneranno in denaro né in salute, ma sono sicuro, la prossima domenica saranno ancora lì, per il loro hobby senza capo né coda, con più svantaggi che benefici.

Over the years I spent painting I realized that probably the closer universe to graffiti is the one of soccer fans at the stadium, even if I don’t like football that much. Every Sunday suffering for their favourite team at the stadium, doesn’t matter if it is A, B or Z series. Sunday after Sunday. Probably they will break with their wives because they spend more time glued to the TV with the slow motion than with their families, friends (except the other hooligans) will stop hanging out with them, finding something better to do than watching eleven muscle idiots in shorts and certainly their families continue to look at them as never grown up kids. No extra money or better health, but I’m sure, they will still be there next Sunday, for their pointless hobby, with more disadvantages than benefits.

Despite the intensive exchange, we aim to maintain every writer’s individuality to ensure that the final results are as authentic as possible. Quality, quantity, progress, stagnation, shapes, elements, colours,connections, styles, bubbles, curves, friendship, the creative exchange within our crew and with other writers are the things that motivate us and the reasons why we are writers. Looking back, shared events and experiences with all their ups and downs, have been very influential on the crew’s development.
