Sessions and Trainers 1st Session:

“Self Marketing”

About the Session

The first session of Sales Summit, “Self Marketing” is purposed to educate the members on how to be a great representative of AIESEC LC Universitas Indonesia. The importance of an organization’s representative is something that we all can not deny as that person is expected to act on behalf of the organization in front of people in the internal and external of the organization.

About the Trainer

Anastasia Avi DT Anastasia Avi DT earned her bachelor in Mass Communication from University of Indonesia. Her passion in writing and travelling has brought her to her current position as Managing Director of Travelxpose Magazine. Her career in media was started when she became the reporter of Gadis Magazine in 1991. Besides that, she also has experiences as the Marketing Manager of Seventeen Indonesia (2005-2009), group marketing manager for Teen (2006-2009), and the Marketing Manager of Femina Magazine (2009-2011). Book and music become part of her life as her hobbies are reading and singing.

2nd Session:

“How to do Sales”

About the Session

Many people admit how challenging it can be to do selling and pitching prospects, no matter how bright their ideas are or how great the products they have. Where do you start, how do you approach the prospect and what is the first thing you say? In this session, we will take a look at how you can confidently make a sales pitch and eliminate the common errors. Members will be introduced to some sales methods on how to do sales and introduce products to AIESEC’s potential customers.

About the Trainer

Dian Irawati Dian Irawati started her amazing AIESEC experience in 1998 where eventually led her now as part of the Supervisory Group for AIESEC Indonesia. She also held other important positions as Director of Incoming Exchange and Human Resources and President of AIESEC Indonesia in 2001. Her passion in leadership and entrepreneurship have brought her as the Director of BOI Research Services, a market research company she established three years ago with her husband, Ingmar van den Brink. Her contribution to AIESEC remains strong until today as BOI Research Services has taken over five interns from AIESEC LC Universitas Indonesia.

3rd Session:

“Presentation Technique”

About the Session

In this session members will learn about how to do a good presentation in front of AIESEC UI’s potential partners. This skill becomes very important as we have to attract and convince them to be our partner. This session will also explain about what we have to do before, during, and after the presentation time. It is like the saying: “Because good presentation can give great impression towards our product”.

About the Trainer

Nadia Marita Andayani Usually called Mbak Nadia, currently a full time lecturer and secretary of international class dual degree program in Communication Department FISIP UI. Presentation Technique is one of the subjects she teaches in Advertising Class University of Indonesia. She earned her Master of Arts, Marketing Communication, from Bournemouth University, United Kingdom and her bachelor in communication from University of Indonesia. She was account executive in Publicis Indonesia (Advertising Company) back then in 2005 and responsible to handle some brands, such as Nestle and L’Oreal. Her passion in research has brought her to Norway by becoming recipient of funding from Global Media Dialogue (GMD) Programme for Research Stay (6 weeks program sponsored by the Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs in 2012).

4th Session:

“Persuation & Negotiation”

About the Session

Persuasion and negotiation are two vital skills which people do everyday and already familiar with, consciously or unconsciously. Being able to persuade and negotiate effectively is can have great impact when selling our product to the externals. Consistency, along with the ability to reach a common agreement is very important aspects in both persuasion and negotiation. Therefore, this session aims to educate the members to gain these skills by also being a positive self in order to face many uncertain situations, especially rejection.

About the Trainer

Ali Abidin Ali Abidin is a coach, facilitator, and consultant who specializes in strategic planning and human capital development. Ali has traveled to over 30 countries and delivered various leadership development and organizational management seminars as chairman, trainer, and facilitator. He was the President of AIESEC in Indonesia and Vice President of People Development of AIESEC in Iceland. In the business sector, Ali worked in Bulgaria as a Strategic Planning and Human Resources Consultant for Orange BG, Bulgaria’s leading company in the Work & Travel industry. Ali earned his MPA from Wagner School of Public Service at New York University, and his Bachelor in Marketing Management from University of Indonesia, and specialized in Internal Marketing and increasing employees’ satisfaction and loyalty. He is also an accredited External Coach Intensive from the Columbia University Coaching Certification Program. Sales Summit Booklet
