Freelander 2 features a new three-grade line-up, headed by the Metropolis edition, replacing the HSE and the HSE LUX as the most luxurious and desirable Freelander yet. Building on Freelander’s customer appeal including versatility and Land Rover’s legendary capability from the existing HSE LUX model, the Metropolis benefits from a wealth of sophisticated standard features to increase style, add functionality and make life on board even more comfortable. They include electrically adjustable (eight-way for driver, six-way for passenger) front seats upholstered in premium Windsor leather; touchscreen-controlled satellite navigation, an 825W Meridian surround sound system, panoramic sunroof and 19-inch diamond-turned wheels. The manifest also extends to Xenon headlights with Land Rover’s signature LED daytime running lights, heated steering wheel, luxury carpet mats, a reversing camera, premium metallic paint and gloss black interior detailing. Metropolis is joined in the range by the new SE and SE Tech models which respectively replace the GS and XS designations. SE grade, the new entry point to Freelander, builds on the established GS specification with the addition of a heated windscreen, front fog lights, front and rear centre armrests, 18-inch 10-spoke alloy wheels and the Design Pack combination of colour-matched bumpers and sills. This is all provided in addition to heated leather seats, climate control, Bluetooth, rear parking sensors and heater, power-folding door mirrors. The new SE Tech models add a more powerful, 380W Meridian audio system, touchscreen-controlled navigation, automatic headlights and wipers and 19-inch 10-spoke alloys.

Land Rover continues to celebrate 25 years of Discovery with new additions to the 2015 Model Year offering. At 15 Model Year, SE becomes the new entry point to the Discovery range. With this change, customers receive additional features as standard compared to the previous entry point GS specification. These include; cruise control, front fog lights, automatic headlamps and wipers, headlamp power wash, auto dimming rear view mirror and interior foot well and door puddle lamps. SE Tech replaces the previous XS specification and adds Xenon headlights with LED signature as standard whilst HSE variants now feature 20” alloy wheels as standard rather than the previous 19”. Customers can also bring that added touch of luxury to their Discovery of choice with the option of adding the Grand Black Lacquer wood and leather-wrapped steering wheel from the XXV Special Edition anniversary model.

We are pleased to introduce Arthur Williams as our new Fleet & Business Corporate Sales Manager. As one of only 24 official Corporate Dealers for Land Rover UK, we have appointed Arthur Williams to head up the Corporate Department covering the whole of the county.
This technology has been developed with some of the world’s leading smartphone app developers and is compatible with the latest Apple and Android smartphones. Optimised for in-car use, Land Rover InControl™ Apps offers services such as satellitenavigation, media streaming, internet radio and location services, whilst also providing easy access to the connected smartphone’s contacts, calendar and music library.
Arthur works with Land Rover to develop sound business relationships within Lincolnshire and the surrounding areas and to co-ordinate all the support and aftercare a company requires to run their Land Rovers efficiently, such as servicing, parts and vehicle sales.
The owner must download Land Rover InControl™ Apps to their smartphone from either the Apple App Store (for iPhone 5 and later) or Google Play (for Android version 4.0 and later). Once the phone is connected to the vehicle’s dedicated USB port, the owner simply taps the InControl™ Apps icon on the central touchscreen and selects the desired vehicle-compatible app from the menu.
