2014 MEDI A PROSPECTUS

Our 2014 Pledge Engage. Change is afoot in health care, in medicine, and in radiology, where our editorial staff and contributing writers spend most of their time. In 2014, we will continue to seek and find those organizations that are successfully engaging with patients, building market share, navigating the pitfalls of new payment models, and evolving to remain relevant. Grow. We continue to be optimistic about the future of medical imaging and remain convinced that radiologists will play a pivotal role in the future delivery of health care as diagnosticians, interventionalists, problem solvers, innovators in informatics solutions, and leaders.

Understand. In the coming year, our mission is to equip our

readers—including the leaders of radiology practices, hospital radiology departments, and hospitals and health-care systems— with the information they need to face all of the challenges they will encounter in conducting the business of imaging.

Evolve. Our pact with our readers, affiliates, and advertisers, in the coming year, is to help them engage with their customers, grow their businesses, understand the pitfalls of change, and evolve as necessary. We look forward to delivering on this promise in 2014. We’re investing in your customers’ success, and this is the strongest case that we can make for you to consider joining the ranks of imagingBiz sponsors in one or more of our publications. If your customers thrive, you thrive. It’s that simple—and the best way to help them to succeed is to help us bring them the type of information that will equip them for today’s highly competitive and unforgiving imaging marketplace. They need our credible information, and we need your support to help us continue to deliver it in an editorial environment that engages them in ways that are educational, while also providing them with inspiration—and the passion to win. Join us in this mission in 2014. Curtis Kauffman-Pickelle CEO and Publisher

The Portal of imagingBiz: A Smarter Read imagingBiz.com Knowledge without context is meaningless, which is why radiology leaders turn to imagingBiz.com for news and analysis. Since our website portal was redesigned at the end of 2012, overall site traffic has more than doubled, and our number of unique visitors has nearly tripled. The redesign made our content easier to access through today’s wide variety of digital platforms — from traditional email newsletters to viewing on smartphones and tablets. There is an enormous difference between simply aggregating online headlines and real reporting of the news that matters. Our readers understand and appreciate this. We deliver relevant business news of the day, the numbers, the research, and the perspectives that readers require to stay on top of the latest legislative, business, and industry developments. We do so with meticulous attention to analytics in order to understand what our readers find most useful and engaging. From high-quality reporting on our Newswire to expert analysis and opinions in our Stat Read blog, radiology business news has one clear online destination: imagingBiz.com.
