Come and try our locally caught seafood. On Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays our boys Peter Mark and Blane, bring in their daily catch for Sue and staff to sell direct to the public. Snapper’ ocean jackets’ bream and trevally are plentiful, we also sell fresh local oysters and buy in Tasmanian and NZ salmon, ocean trout, and fresh crystal bay prawns or fresh tigers or kings (what ever is the best this week). Peter has been fishing for about 30 years and has plenty of experience, knowing where to place his traps, Mark is our youngest partner and is very knowledgeable also and Blane is our excellent deckey. Seacoast fishing moors their 16 mtr boat Spinnaway 11, from Pretty Beach wharf, where the boys can travel as far as 50 miles and find new territory, especially looking for Lobsters (season starts in November). Little Creek Cheese Cheese Making Classes Little Creek Cheese is the only cheese factory on the Central Coast of New South Wales. Located at the historical Old Milk Factory, in the back of Wyong. Being established now for just over 20 months they are opening their doors to the public and teaching cheese making. Owners and cheese makers Russell and Sue Parsons are excited about passing on their knowledge to anyone who would like to learn the traditional cheese making ways. Using everyday things that you would find in your kitchen they will show you how to make Haloumi, Ricotta, Yoghurt and Labna.
Andersons Boatshed Andersons offers a variety of boats for hire, half cabin, open boats, aluminium boats with canopy and the BBQ boats. Bring the family or friends along for a great day out, you don’t need a boat licence all the boats are very easy to operate, hire fee includes the boat, fuel, map and full instructions. We also offer unique BBQ boats which can carry up to 12 people, these are the best way to get out on the water with your group.
Having started this as a family hobby, they hope that other families will be interested in taking up cheese making as a family hobby as well. What better reward for a day’s work than some delicious cheese. Sue said “We always have people asking us how we make cheese, so the next step was to open the doors and teach people how to make it, with a hands on lesson, rather than just a verbal answer”. The response has been great and anyone interested in attending a class can contact Little Creek Cheese direct for more details and dates on classes. Email LittleCreekCheese@hotmail.com or Phone 0488 481 441.
They include electric start motors with steering wheel, along with toilet facilities, BBQ and stereo system. Go fishing and cook your BBQ. Great for Birthday parties or any type of group function. Hires are available from a couple of hours through to the full day every day all year round, just bring your food to cook, cutlery, drinks and we can look after the rest. Fishing gear available at the boatshed shop along with bait, tackle, ice, hire rods, fishing licence, coffee, cold drinks and snacks. The boats are pet friendly, wheelchair access is good.

But how did the esteemed cocoa change thus to the chocolate we know today? The answer can be found in the story of European chocolate; for in the tapestry of family recipes, of rivalries, and of the aristocracy lay the tale of artisan chocolate and of Belgian chocolatiers. And it is this story we wish to bring to you. Through combining classic recipes and premium Belgian couverture with the freshest local and imported ingredients, we aim to give you a taste of past luxury, where every piece is a work of art.

The Carousel This historic icon has charmed and delighted young and old at The Entrance since 1930. It has seen a number of owners since its arrival in Australia from France in the early 1900s and is now part of the National Trust classified Haas Family carnival, a family that has 400 years of carnival ancestry. The carousel, which was built in the late 1800s in Germany, was originally ‘powered’ by a pony but was converted to steam at the turn of the century. It remained steam driven until the 1950s when an old chev. engine was installed, and was converted to electricity in the 1970s. Its reed pipe organ, operated by bellows, remained in commission until 1950. Music is now supplied by tape, although the organ front has been restored. The carousel has pride of place on The Entrance waterfront where it is visited by not only today’s children, but by the parents, grandparents and great-grandparents of those children.

Azzuro Blu Wharf, The Entrance.
"What a lovely evening out. Although it was raining we were able to park within a few metres of Azzuro Blu Wharf, The Entrance where The Italian Restaurant, right on the Waterfront is situated. We were so well served, cold water on the table, a comprehensive wine list, friendly service along with authentic Italian food it doesn't get much better than that. Oysters, sweet fresh Sydney Rock Oysters were shared by 3 guests at our table. They were succulent Mornay, Kilpatrick and Natural, whilst I enjoyed a Chicken Caesar Salad as an entree. Our main dishes were delightful. 2 of our party of 4 had the Scampi Alla Grillia dressed with lemon juice and garlic with rocket salad and shaved parmesan and cherry tomatoes. They thoroughly enjoyed the scampi, our other guest had the Enzo Prawns sauteed with garlic and chili in Napolitana sauce. While I admired the presentation and taste of their meals my favourite was definitely my own. Home made light, fluffy gnocci with a delicate cream sauce accompanied by Sauteed King Prawns and fresh Asparagus - it doesn't get much better than that. The menu is more exciting than standard Italian restaurants, a great way to relax and enjoy."

Opera in the Arboretum Saturday 23rd March 2013 This annual charity event is a function held by the Rotary Club of Woy Woy. Considered the cultural event of Pearl Beach, Opera in the Arboretum attracts a great number of people annually. You can get to Pearl Beach by via various travel means and routes: By road from Sydney (approx. 95 Kilometres), driving north via the Sydney-Newcastle (F3) freeway, exiting at Gosford/Somersby turn-off Via Kariong or West Gosford for Woy Woy. At Woy Woy proceed via Umina. By Rail from Sydney, take Inter-City rail services from Central or Strathfield Stations to Woy Woy. Weekend bus services operate from Woy Woy Station via Umina but for Opera in the Arboretum this method is not recommended. Taxis are also available from Woy Woy Station. Coming by car! Crommelin Arboretum is located within the village of Pearl Beach. At the Diamond Road intersection with Tourmaline Avenue, turn right. Proceed along Tourmaline Avenue, following the signs to the Pearl Beach Tennis Courts parking area, where parking marshals will assist with parking and also will direct those requiring disabled parking. Parking may be a problem in Pearl Beach streets, especially the near vicinity of the Arboretum. See above for parking information. After parking your vehicle, you will have a short stroll through the Arboretum to the opera venue. NOTE: Be mindful of the convenience of Pearl Beach residents when parking in street-side areas. Please do not park in or across an obvious resident's property vehicle access point. Consider how you would feel if someone parks across your driveway! What to bring! This is an open air event amidst the beauty of the native forest. You should bring chairs, a picnic hamper and
drinks and clothing applicable for the weather. Remember, in the village there is only the Pearl Beach General Store and CafĂŠ and this is located some distance from the venue. So selfcatering is recommended. Excellent coffee can be purchased onsite. To those bringing young children, we ask that they be supervised and noise be kept to a minimum during performances. Medical assistance will be available onsite if required. A very exciting line-up of opera artists will perform an outdoor concert on

John Earle Gallery John Earle
Gallery located at 126 Glebe Rd Merewether, is the perfect place to visit to see an exquisite collection of coastal paintings and limited edition reproduction prints, all by Newcastle artist John Earle. John will often be painting in his adjoining studio, so you can see his new work in progress and say hello. He is best known for his finely detailed landscape paintings, either oil on canvas or acrylic gouache. His work has been hung in the Wynne Prize (for landscape painting) at the Art Gallery of NSW. 2013 will have John travelling southward, along NSW’s scenic coastal road, then across Victoria to host a painting workshop and exhibit his Victorian coastal work at the Beaumaris Art Group, Beaumaris. John has been visiting the area between Queenscliff to Torquay to resource subjects for the past four years and also finds the wilder & more untouched area along the Great Ocean Road a vast source of inspiration. John Earle Gallery is open: Thursday, Friday & Saturday from 12 noon to 5pm. www.johnearle.com.au
