Christian Marketing & Advertising Solutions IMA specialises in looking after the requirements of clients in this sector. The section is managed by Alison Keaton, an Account Director with over twenty years experience in both the Christian and commercial sectors. Alison has worked her way up through the advertising industry through Print/Production, Direct Mail management, Media buying and Account management at McCann-Erickson, MBNA Bank, Sovereign Creative Marketing, and MDA:Creative. Her knowledge of the Christian press is extensive and she has excellent contacts with editors and advertising people throughout the Christian media. (Alison worked for thirty clients in the Christian sector as a media buyer when at Sovereign Creative Marketing, including Tearfund, World Vision and the Children's Society).

Alison now heads up the Christian and not-for-profit sector within IMA Group. Alison has in-depth understanding of the different denominations within the Christian Community in the UK and Ireland and understands how to reach all of these through the appropriate creative approach, media and marketing channels. Our Christian and not-for-profit sector also specialises in finding corporate sponsors for our clients so that both parties benefit from the tangible and intangible benefits of such partnerships.

Design Studio Headed up by Mike Diver, our ultramodern design studio embraces the very latest in digital artworking technology, to produce above and below-the-line advertising, marketing and promotional material for a diverse client base, including many blue-chip companies and organisations. Mike joined the IMA team in 1984 straight from college, beginning his career behind a drawing board as a paste-up artist, before entering the digital age as an Apple Mac Operator. From there, he quickly moved through the ranks to become Studio Manager in 1993. Since then, Mike has always been diligent in staying one step ahead of the game regarding change and development within the industry, whilst his enviable design and artworking experience, both traditional and computer-generated, enables him to approach and fulfil every brief the studio receives with consummate professionalism, a keen eye for detail and total dedication across the board.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank the IMA team in general, and Mike Diver in particular, for helping to produce the artwork for the first issue of the Link Brochure in record time. It has gone down extremely well with our Negotiating Team here at Nisa-Today’s, and I hope you maintain the professional approach you have shown in producing this brochure to meet our deadline.

Cunard sponsors Liverpool Seafarers Centre Registered charity Liverpool Seafarers Centre has launched an awareness campaign to tell Merseysiders about the plight of seafarers and the work that is carried out at the Liverpool Seafarers Centre in Waterloo. The Charity is delighted to announce that legendary shipping line, Cunard, is sponsoring the initiative and welcome the support and recognition from the most famous ocean liners in the world. Cunard’s links with Liverpool are legendary – the company’s first ever passenger service set sail from Liverpool 170 years ago in 1840, and the Cunard name is still held in great esteem and affection on Merseyside. There has been a mission to seafarers in Liverpool since 1856, and the recently refurbished centre – now the Liverpool Seafarers Centre – continues to work tirelessly to make a difference to the lives of thousands of seafarers from all over the world, continuing the long tradition of Liverpudlian hospitality. John Wilson, Chief Exec of Liverpool Seafarers Centre explained: “With Cunard’s support, the Centre can continue to provide respite from life on board ship for many, and we are extremely grateful to Cunard for the help and support we have received. It is wonderful to renew the old friendship between Cunard and Liverpool in such a worthwhile cause”.
