Four Things That Will Make Your Jabalpur Tour Memorable Jabalpur, a small city in the heart of Madhya Pradesh, has always been a favourite holiday destination for tourists. Also known as Jubbulpore, the city is located on the shores of Narmada Rivers (a holy river among Hindus) and on the tributary plains of Ken, Gour, Sone, and Hiran rivers. Being one of the most significant historic cities in the country, Jabalpur has imparted many well-known people like Rani Durgawati, Arjun Rampal, and Premnath. Its culture is shaped up by its great kings and emperors, which includes Maratha and Mughal rulers. In the 12th century, it was the centre of Gond and Kalchuri Dynasties.
