These information were collected by interviewing community elders and also through the actual use of the application.

The Goa Chitra Museum is an ethnographic museum, and the constituents of the museum include of the reuse of materials like doors, windows, wood work, gates, and pillars of over 300 houses that were demolished in the course of time. The entire museum building is divided into different zones, namely: Goa Chitra art gallery, Roots, Tulsi, and Goa Chitra ethnographic museum etc. In simple terms the focus of the museum is the ancient agricultural practices and implements. It shows and educates the use of natural fertilizers. There also exists an organic traditional farm at the back of the museum, rendering the use of old farming practices. Apart from that there also exist a massive oil grinder that is used to make coconut oil. The grinder has to be attached to a bull, who in turn does all the work of grinding.

The place where the museum is located is called the Benaulim, and is well-connected to all major commerce centres, railway station, bus junctions, airport, and even to some Goa hotels. The museum remains open all days from 9 AM to 6 PM, except on Mondays. The entrance fees is quite minimal, Rs 100 for adults and Rs 30 & Rs 50 for students.
