Welcome
Here in the Love Crochet offce, to say we’re longing for some decent sunshine, would be an understatement. We want to ditch the cumbersome coats, sling on a cute, cheeky cardi and pad to work in optimistic fip-fops (with of course, a slightly more realistic brolly tucked into our handbags). So. we’ve packed this issue with gorgeous, summery projects in the belief that if you build the dream, it will come! We have a very pretty camisole in a minty ice cream shade over on page 72 – great for holidays and mooching in the garden, alike. There’s our delicate and lacy summer scarf on page 58, ideal for dressing a light work or wedding outft. And we have a stylish headband, perfect for keeping cool in the sticky, summer heat (p.66).
Rosebud necklace, p17
Daisy-chain headress, p34
We also have fun and fast festival makes for the fashionconscious, music-loving crowd, including a Coachella-cool poncho (p.46), dainty daisy-chain headress (p.34) and gypsyinspired hand jewellery (p.52). And of course, we have our glowing cover star – the bridal beauty (p.13). She makes for a perfect wedding gift or caketopper – such a sweet handmade touch to a big day.
Flower gift ribbon, p40
So, enjoy your summer! May that brolly stay in your handbag!
Zeena Moolla Editor PS. The next issue of Love Crochet is on sale on July 3rd 2017. If you have any queries about patterns, email patternhelp@immediate. co.uk and we’ll be happy to give you a hand!
