NIVÅ Sound absorbing wall and ceiling panels NIVÅ improves acoustics and its design makes it a feature in any room. The panels can be varied to form different patterns in different colours, with or without textile.

Size and Material

Finish

NIVÅ is manufactured in dimensions of 593 x 593 mm in two versions, one to work as a wall panel sound absorbent, the other to fit grid systems for ceilings (edge A). Thickness varies across the surface from 30–80 mm. NIVÅ is made of our unique core material EcoSUND®. New this year are more core material colours and a range of fabric colours that can be laminated onto the absorbent.

NIVÅ comes with the smooth surface of the core material EcoSUND® (White, Black or Grey RAW edition), or laminated with Hush fabric on the front. NIVÅ is available for express delivery in RAW edition or with the five express colours of Hush. More colours of Hush are available upon request (see pages 38–39).

Wall panel sound absorbent

HONEY is a playful and modular wall panel that can be varied to form different patterns in different colours, with or without textile.

HONEY is available in three thicknesses — 20 mm, 40 mm and 50 mm. All panels have good sound absorbing properties. HONEY is manufactured with a straight edge and comes with velour backing for easy mounting with Velcro. The sound absorbent is made from our unique core material EcoSUND®. New this year are more core material colours and a range of fabric colours that can be laminated onto the absorbent.

3D is a great option when you want to create a unique impression using figure cut sound absorbents.

TELL-US is manufactured in three standard sizes with a variety of frames. The sound absorbent is made of our unique core material EcoSUND®. The continents pop out from background oceans to create a striking 3D effect.

TELL-US comes with a laminated surface in optional colours of Hush. The fabric is selected for its ability to allow the sound to pass through to the core material EcoSUND® in order to achieve maximum sound absorption.

3D is produced according to your wishes. Supply us with text or graphics with specified measurements in Adobe Illustrator or CAD file formats such as DWG or DXF in 2D. The material used is our unique core material EcoSUND®.

3D comes with an unlaminated heated smooth surface of the core material EcoSUND® (White, Black or Grey RAW edition), or with finishes in Acoustic Nonwoven or textile for a more elegant design.

How to order: Deliver your figure/image in Ilustrator format or 2D CAD type DXF or DWG. If you leave them as an image, PDF or non-CAD compatible file format an extra 50 € will be charged. The dimension is based on your figure’s outer format +100 mm margin. The minimum order is one square metre.

LÄTT is manufactured in two standard sizes. The absorbents are 50 mm thick for good sound absorption. The core material is Rockwool which is covered with Acoustic Nonwoven to eliminate fibre deposition. LÄTT is mounted in the ceiling leaving other installations such as lighting and ventilation undisturbed.

Scala is a playful paraphrase on corrugated iron that simultaneously employs the functionality of the shape. The moulded felt absorbs sound and the wave-shaped surface effectively breaks the sound waves. The ceiling-hung version prevents sound waves to continue upwards in the room, which contributes to a more pleasant soundscape, for example in an office or restaurant environment.

Scala spielt nicht nur mit dem Thema Wellblech, sondern nutzt auch die funktionalen Vorteile dieser Form. Der formgepresste Filz sorgt für die Absorption und die gewellte Oberfläche für die effektive Brechung der Schallwellen. PRODUCT INFORMATION Soundwave® Wicker, the prized and celebrated architects Gert Wingårdh and Erik Wikerstål have given the acoustic panel its perfect expression. With its woven surface, Wicker gives an industrial product with supreme acoustic qualities a touch of traditional crafts. The origin of Wicker is a material with an expression and a set of characteristics which seems to be exact opposite of those of an acoustic panel: concrete. As architects of the ongoing renovation of Nationalmuseum in Stockholm, Gert Wingårdh and Erik Wikerstål not only have the responsibility to make sure that the prestigious 19th century building gets a climate that the art treasures will feel comfortable in, they also had to design an extension with a less prominent but very important function – the safety zone which the masterpieces for the exhibitions are taken through in to the museum. The task gave the architect duo the possibility to use the full potential of pre-cast concrete to give the building both a strong and joyful expression. The result, facades with a woven pattern, carried deeper abilities that now have been refined in to a product in Offecct´s acoustic panel collection Soundwave®. The importance of good acoustics is something that Wingårdh and Wikerstål, who both have great experience of designing auditoriums and concert halls, are well acquainted with. ”What you want to do with sound is to send it in different directions”, explains Gert Wingårdh, ”And the woven pattern with its natural pockets has a nearly ideal shape for an absorbent.” With Soundwave® Wicker, Offecct initiates a long anticipated collaboration with architect Gert Wingårdh. ”Offecct has a long relationship with Gert Wingårdh and we have over the years worked together on projects. PRODUCT INFORMATION In Thomas Sandell’s new acoustic panel Soundwave® Ceramic, architecture and design comes together. With his exceptional knowledge of the details required to create a qualitative interior, Sandell has designed an acoustic panel that is more architecture than design and that is as pleasing for the eyes and ears as it is lean on the environment. The inspiration for Ceramic are tiles, a product of many qualities even though the contribution to a good acoustic environment is not one of them. When Thomas Sandell now interprets the architectural qualities of ceramic tiles to design, it is with the help of recycled polyester fibre, an environmentally friendly material whose qualities Offecct has successfully developed during many years in its collection Soundwave®. ”When working on Ceramic, I have tried to think more like an architect than a designer”, says Thomas Sandell who throughout his career has successfully managed to combine both professions. Instead of creating an acoustic panel that is expressive, which according to Sandell design often is, the ambition of Ceramic has been to develop a panel that can cover large surfaces – much in the same way as ceramics are used in architecture. ”I asked myself: ’what does an architect imagine an acoustic panel to look like and what functions should it inhabit?’” Thomas Sandell found the answer to the question as well as inspiration for Ceramic in one of his most recent architectural projects – a private house in the Stockholm Archipelago where ceramic tiles from a revered Dutch ceramics factory was used. ”Soundwave® Ceramic is an acoustic panel with two features”, says Anders Englund, design manager at Offecct. ”We wanted an acoustic panel with which an entire wall structure without any visible joints can be created, even though the geometry of each unit is a square.” With the acoustic panel Ceramic the long and successful collaboration between Offecct and Thomas Sandell, that resulted in the King chair, which was released in 2008, continues. Sound-absorbing wall panels help reduce the echo eﬀect in a particular room, but also allow for creating a unique and cosy place that gives employees the feeling of acoustic comfort. Thanks to the diversity of panel sizes and the possibility to combine two diﬀerent colours on one panel, we are able to create exceptional arrangements. Using wall panels at workstations designed for working together, in conference halls and in managerial offices gives them a new character that facilitates the performance of tasks that require employees’ creativity and concentration.

Sectioning oﬀ workstations and isolating employees from distracting sounds are two highly important aspects that help maintain employees’ efficiency and ensure greater privacy. A mobile panel is an additional tool that allows us to divide a working area ﬂexibly, for example on a conference table.

The panels are designed to be assembled at a wall at 15 mm intervals. A template attached to the set facilitates the assembly process. The structure of the 58 mm thick panel consists of a chipboard carcass and a filling made of a polyester non-woven fabric. The carcass frame is made of chipboard. The sound-absorbing filling – the polyester non-woven fabric is a light, hardly flammable, antiallergic and eco-friendly material. The polyester non-woven fabric is made of 85% recycled fibres. The panel is upholstered with a fabric. Thanks to its structure, it is pinnable. The panels are attached to a wall using four handles that ensure the right panel levelling. The panels are available as horizontal or vertical in a few upholstery versions: | one-colour panel | two-colour panel with a fabric splice 1/3 left side, 2/3 right side | two-colour panel with a fabric splice 2/3 left side, 1/3 right side.

The maximum load of the organisational strip is 10kg.Total height of the desk panel is 660 mm. After assembling, its upper edge is located 530 mm over the desktop. Im Inneren des Korpus des A+ Paneels befindet sich eine spezielle, perforierte Platte, welche die schallabsorbierenden Eigenschaften des Paneels erhöht. Das Korpusinnere des I+ Paneels besteht aus einem Polyestervliesstoff – ein leichtes und schwer entflammbares sowie antiallergisches und umweltfreundliches Material. The panel is equipped with a removable handle – a 25 mm thick clamping ring that is pushed onto a desktop. The panel is upholstered with a fabric. The panel height (without the handle) is 400 mm. The panel thickness in its bottom part is 65 mm. The handle is available in the following colours: white, black, alu.

Le panneau est disponible en version simple ou comme ensemble de trois ou quatre panneaux de taille équivalente, suspendus côte à côte et créant une composition harmonieuse. La structure du panneau d’une épaisseur de 40 mm est composée d’un moule indépendant, en fibres de polyester compressées, placé dans une housse en tissu de haute qualité. Les panneaux peuvent être attachés au plafond à l’aide d’un assortiment de cordes en acier argenté, disponibles en différents longueurs (max. 3 000 mm). L’équipement comprend des attaches supérieures, montées à l’aide des fixations chevilles. Les panneaux faisant partie du même ensemble sont attachés entre eux par un jeu de cordes d’une longueur fixe de 200 mm. Les panneaux supérieurs doivent toujours être fixés directement aux dalles du plafond ; ils ne peuvent pas être fixés sur un faux plafond.

Das 40 mm dicke Paneel besteht aus einer selbsttragenden Form aus verpressten Polyesterfasern, umhüllt von einem qualitativ hochwertigen Bezugsstoﬀ. Die Paneele werden an der Decke mittels einem Set aus höheneistellbaren Stahlseilen (maximale Länge – 3 m) befestigt. Zur Montage werden Dübel in der Decke angebracht. Paneelsets werden aneinander mit Stahlseilen mit einer Länge von 20 cm zusammengehängt. Das oberste Paneel muss immer an der Deckenplatte montiert werden und kann nicht an abgehängten Decken angebracht werden.

The panel is available as a single option or as a set consisting of two or three panels of the same size that are suspended to each other and used to create harmonious arrangements. The structure of the 40 mm thick panel includes a self-supporting mould made of pressed polyester fibres that is put into a cover made of a high quality upholstery fabric. The panel is attached to a ceiling using kits of silver steel lines that are available in adjustable lengths – max. 3000 mm. The kit comprises an upper fitting that can be assembled with the use of rawlplugs. The panels included in a set are joined together using kits of lines available in fixed length: 200 mm. The upper panels always have to be assembled to a ceiling slab; they cannot be assembled to suspended ceilings.

Les panneaux acoustiques pour bureaux et pour postes « bench » A+ (Absorption+) sont des panneaux acoustiques fonctionnels et robustes avec des propriétés absorbantes supérieures. Les panneaux acoustiques pour bureaux et pour postes « bench » I+ (Isolation+) sont des panneaux acoustiques avec des propriétés isolantes supérieures. Les panneaux d’une épaisseur de 58 mm sont dotés d’une structure en hêtre multiplis et en bois massif. À l’interieur du corps des panneaux A+, se trouve une plaque spéciale perforée qui améliore des qualités absorbantes de l’ensemble. Dans l’axe des panneaux I+, se trouve une plaque pleine qui agit comme une barrière isolant le son. Le remplissage acoustique des panneaux A+ et I+ est réalisé en étoffe non tissée en polyester : un matériau léger, difficilement inflammable, antialergique et écologique. L’étoffe non tissée en polyester est fabriquée à 85 % des fibres recyclées. Le panneau est tapissé d’un tissu. Les panneaux sont fixés sur le bord d’un bureau ou d’un poste « bench » à l’aide de barres métalliques. En option, les panneaux peuvent être équipés d’un rail d’organisation, servant à y accrocher des accessoires. Le rail peut être monté d’un ou de deux côtés du panneau. Il existe également en blanc. La charge maximale pour un rail d’organisation est de 10 kg. La hauteur totale des panneaux pour bureaux est de 660 mm. Après le montage, le bord supérieur est placé à 530 mm au-dessus de la surface de bureau. La hauteur totale des panneaux pour postes « bench » est de 520 mm. Les panneaux sont disponibles avec des barres de fixation pour les bureaux et pour les postes « bench » des systèmes Play&Work et SQart.
