Our approach is based on a dedication to the progression of design and marketing in the region. project Advertising/Website Design client Airline Association of Barbados (AAB) description The Airline Association of Barbados tasked IDS with producing a photo heavy brochure that was to speak its thousand words. Our second project with them, saw the creation of a website for their executive lounge, with functionality for bookings, downloads, and a photo gallery. think. design. create. on the wings of imagination.

project Website Design client Foster’s Bakery description Working with a strategic partner, EBi Programming, IDS designed the new Foster’s Bakery website. The site was to facilitate a product gallery that integrated with an online order form. As part of the project, an e-flyer was designed to promote the launch of the new site.

project Logo Development client EBi Programming description This software development business needed a logo developed to display their identity. They were specific about the colours, but otherwise left it up to us to interpret the use. The blank slate allowed us to be creative but still communicate within the realm of the field of Information Technology.

project Magazine Layout client Hanschell Inniss Limited description Working with a strategic partner Norman Mayers of Redmango Studios, IDS was able to layout the Wine, Spirits & Food Catalogue for Hanschell Inniss Limited for the third year running. In this issue, the vibrancy of colour helps to enhance the products offered. think. design. create. on the wings of imagination.
project Corporate Branding & Advertising client South Coast Designs (SCD) description When Nicole Eastmond launched her south coast boutique, she turned to IDS once again, having worked successfully with us to produce the branding for London Designs, her premiere boutique. She wanted a brand to communicate the south coast, leisurely lifestyle, with a yet simple identity and vibrant colours.

project Corporate Branding client SITUP Consulting description Working with a company from the ground up is a unique opportunity and such was the case working with SITUP Consuliting. The client brought his ideas, and was open to seeing them developed beyond what he imagined. The logo concept is designed to capture how strategy, systems and finances, represented by their different colours, work together in the business process.

project 2010 Yearbook client The St. Michael School description It was fun working with The St. Michael School to produce their 2010 Yearbook. The project was designed around the theme “Keep the Dream Alive” and was created to capture the fifth year students as they were and “imortalize” their hopes and aspirations. This youthful look & theme, designed more like a teen magazine, was a success with the students and teachers alike.

project Magazine Design & Layout client The Small Business Association Having worked with the SBA on previous description projects, they request our assistance in the development of their flagship publication, the Business Lead. The publication is a medium designed to keep small & medium enterprises informed of news, events and benefits that will impact their businesses. The first issue of the Business Lead was launched in September 2010.

project E-Flyer - Jazz at Divi Southwinds client Errol Bradshaw & Calabaza Jazz description When approached to produce this flyer design, IDS was given the photo, a word document, and the client’s request for something better. Drawing inspiration from the smooth tones of jazz music, and the similarities of the saxaphone to the letter ‘J’, the flowing lines and italicized text, mixed with soothing colours communicated all that the client had hoped for. This e-flyer was sent out through the Bajan Things email marketing service, between August and October 2010.

project Advertising & Promotional Development client Shine Vehicle Care Centre (Shine VCC) description Shine VCC came to us as a referral with their logo already designed, needing advertising and promotional materials to complement the logo. They brought strong ideas for us to work with which was a welcome opportunity. Working in tandem with Shine VCC, IDS developed a package of promotional and advertising materials to compliment the logo and the business identity.

project Advertising & Promotional Development client GTS Mobile description GTS Mobile approach IDS with a blank slate and hearing good things about us left the imagination all up to us. Working to convey the multifacted nature of the business, sales, repairs and accessories, IDS created a switchbladestyled logo, design to be complemented by simple clean graphics to make it stand out. The client was pleased to see the finished product.

project Logo Redesign & Advertising client Financial Consulting Services Inc. (FCSI) description FCSI came to us through the Small Business Association. Intitial an ad was needed for the association’s member discount booklet, and that soon developed into a timely modernization of FCSI’s logo. FCSI made it clear that the colours and the elements were to remain the same, but certain creative licenses were allowed, such as removing the redundancy in the name being mentioned twice.

project Branding client Sonia Mullins description Working with Entertainment Management company Sonic Entertainment, IDS created the logo and business card with concepts based on client direction.

project Book Cover client Indra Rudder description One book. Two covers. Working with the fun-loving Indra ‘iNDRANi’ Rudder on her book ‘Beyond Hope: a Tru Story,’ IDS had the opportunity to mirror her personality and integrate much of her original artwork in the process. Two cover designs were created as options but in the end both were liked so much that they just may consider using both.

project Goddess Wild DVD Album Artwork client iNDRANi description As colourful as iNDRANi herself, this album artwork reflects iNDRANi’s fun-loving, playful and rootsy nature.

project Album Artwork client Hoszia Hinds description Gospel artiste Hoszia Hinds returned to IDS after the successful design of his previous album ‘Breaking Out,’ needing something fresh but grown up. The concept produced carried a digital, futuristic feel, to convey the urgency of a Christian’s need to change their lives. Hoszia and his team were again pleased with the artwork, noting that it would get the same degree of international recognition as did the previous album.

project Branding client Scented Lites description Scented Lites came to IDS through the BYBT with the task to create their logo, business cards and labels. The logo was created to symbolize the releasing of scents as the candle illuminates. The business card remained with a light design to allow the colours of the branding to be in focus.

project Brand Development [Tender] client Ministry of Tourism description The Ministry of Tourism put out a tender for the branding of a series of expos to showcase indiginous Barbadian art, craft and cuisine to tourists and the public, at various open air venues. The winning tender, though not ours, is what has become the ‘Bajan Pride Expo.’

project Logo Development [Tender] client Caricom Development Fund (CDF) description When the CDF advertised their tender, it was a prime opportunity, that we knew we couldn’t pass up. The concept was to illustrate the mandate of the CDF, working with Caribbean countries to develop their people, their communities and their industries, through investment, training and infrastructure. While IDS’s bid didn’t win the tender, it gave us an opportunity to create a fresh, modern logo to represent the PanCaribbean entity.
