Sheila L. Davis is an educated mentor, leader, and ambitious entrepreneur. Sheila was born and raised on the west side of Detroit, Michigan. Where she attended the Detroit Public School system, and after completing her academic requirements, she went on to attend Eastern Michigan University, where she earned her Bachelor of Science in Computer Science. While attending Eastern Michigan University, she proudly joined the sisterhood of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Incorporated. Sheila is a mother of 2 children: Dai’Sha Davis and Dominic Davis. Sheila decided to follow in her father’s footsteps and join the Automotive Industry, where she has dedicated nearly 2 ½ decades, playing an active role in manufacturing, strategizing, and facilitating the competitive level of what a global industry strives to be. In addition, Sheila has dreamed of being a mentor and resource to underserved young mothers since she was 17.

In March 2018, she made her dreams come true when she founded B.A.B.Z. (Building Achievers Beyond Zillions). She is the Executive Director/Founder of B.A.B.Z. Inc., a 501c3 non-profit Community Resource Center for young, underserved mothers ages 1725 in the Metro Detroit area. The main goal of B.A.B.Z is to provide and assist young mothers with the tools they need to succeed. B.A.B.Z follows a well-structured and supportive program that helps with emergency sheltering and M.D.H.H.S. program availabilities. They have also collaborated with various local educational programs that offer classes and workshops to promote higher education, all while implementing strong parenting skills.

On top of that, Sheila has collaborated with Sister Friends of Detroit and Forgotten Harvest food bank to help young mothers in need further.
