What Design Can Do What Design Can Do (WDCD) launched the No Waste Challenge, in partnership with IKEA Foundation. Designers and creatives from around the world are invited to submit their innovative solutions to reduce waste and rethink the current production and consumption cycle. Winners receive a cash prize and a 6-month accelerator programme co-created with Impact Hub Amsterdam!
Kapimex | Impact Nation In search of a more sustainable candle, ABN AMBRO suggested Kapimex to join the Impact Nation ‘sustainability challenge’ during which they found a match with the Dutch company PeelPioneers. Together they developed an orange scented candle that makes use of scented oil from discarded orange peels, collected and processed by PeelPioneers.

Seenons | Investment Ready Program Investment Ready Program alumni Seenons raised 6 million euros during its Seed funding round. Seenons is a circular waste management platform that combines smart logistics with local processing to turn waste into new products. The funding enables them to expand and further develop their technology, all to contribute to meet Europe’s target of zero-waste by 2030.
Renewi | Innovation matching Waste streams that reach the end of the dividing and sorting line are difficult to process. As part of their 'Mission-75' activities, waste processor and recycling company Renewi has joined forces with Impact Hub Amsterdam to find innovators and startups providing upcycling and innovative circular solutions to their waste processing flows.
