Founded in 2013 and based in Halls Creek, in the East Kimberley region of Western Australia, the business supports Kija Traditional Owners, as well as other Indigenous and non-Indigenous people, to gain employment in the civil, mining and construction industries.

RJ Madden Earthworks is committed to the highest levels of service delivery. We are experienced, flexible and responsive to the needs of our clients. TRAINING & ASSESSMENT RJ Madden Earthworks collaborates with certified training organisations and trainers/assessors who have strong management and operator experience in the WA mining and civil sectors.

INDIGENOUS MENTORING SUPPORT RJ Madden Earthworks can provide 12 months on-and-off-the-job mentoring support to new recruits and supervisors, with the aim of sustaining long term employment and supporting career development. We partner with Yulella Aboriginal Organisation in employing job seekers and we encourage employees to work with us for the first six months before being placed with our clients.

FOUNDATION AND PATHWAYS WORK READINESS PROGRAM Our work readiness program has resulted in successful employment pathways for Indigenous job seekers into mining, civil construction and facilities management roles. The foundations and pathways model provides participants with an understanding of a comprehensive range of mine and civil works procedures, including remote worksite health and safety.

RJ Madden Earthworks is proud to supply labour hire to MACA Civil & Mining, for its work with Ramelius Resources at the Mount Magnet gold project in WA.


The RJ Madden Earthworks management team each has over 20 years’ experience in community and industry engagement aimed at Indigenous employment and economic development.

Lexie Trancollino has extensive experience working in the public service sector, as well as in community and industry engagement.

Reg has been involved with designing and implementing successful Indigenous employment and workforce development services within the mining, community and civil construction industries.
