July 30 – August 8: East Hartford Jurassic Quest Drive-Through,, Pratt & Whitney Stadium at Rentschler Field, 615 Silver Lane, East Hartford. More than 70 photorealistic dinosaurs are ready to return from extinction to delight families and dino fans everywhere, as Jurassic Quest Drive-Through, the nation’s largest and most realistic dinosaur experience, launches its Northeast Evolution Tour this summer. Times vary. August 1: Guilford 15th Annual Shoreline Jewish Festival, Guilford Green, Whitfield St.,Guilford. Featuring various styles of Jewish music, traditional and Israeli fair food (all kosher), an art and book sale, children’s crafts and activities. Noon – 5pm. FREE August 4: Old Saybrook “You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown”, Katharine Hepburn Cultural Arts Center, Inc. 300 Main Street, Old Saybrook. Summer Theatre of New Canaan presents You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown. Children (of all ages) will love these iconic cartoon characters who come to life! Great songs, music, and a story everyone will enjoy. 1pm – 2:30 pm , $15 $25 August 4: New Haven Twilight Concert Series, Pardee-Morris House, 325 Lighthouse Rd.,New Haven. The Pardee-Morris House Twilight Concert Series will continue with the soulful, sizzling Latin jazz of Ed Fast and Conga Bop. Grounds open at 6 p.m., the concert begins at 7 p.m. Rain dates for all concerts are the following day. The public is invited to bring blankets and chairs and enjoy a picnic on the lawn. Parking is available along Lighthouse Road. Food truck on-site. 7pm / FREE August 5-22: Woodbury Sunflower Festival, Farmstead Location of The Farm, 281 Weekeepeenee Road, Route 132, Woodbury. Wander through the 18 varieties of exquisite sunflowers thriving across four acres. Choose one of your favorite sunflowers to cut and take with you at the end of your walk, or choose to pick a bouquet of flowers from our field for an 4

Night one, Thursday enjoy the carnival at 6 p.m., in Veteran’s Memorial Park with free parking. Night two, Friday, there will be a Mini Youthtopia at 6 p.m., plus the carnival, and fireworks at 9 p.m. (free shuttle/parking from GMS). Night three, Saturday Melaena rocks the park and the carnival at 6 p.m. (free shuttle/parking from GMS). If you bring a canned good item (for Saint Mary’s Pantry) then you save $5 off a bracelet to ride everything. Each day. Starring Christopher Plummer as a crime novelist and victim Harlan Thrombey; and Daniel Craig as the debonair investigating Detective Benoit Blanc. 7pm – 9pm August 6: Hamden Hamden Food Truck Festival,, Town Center Park, 2761 Dixwell Ave., Hamden. Enjoy the delicious offering of more than food trucks, along with live music and various activities for children and families. 4:30pm – 9pm. August 12-22: Stamford 2021 Hey Stamford! Food Festival, Mill River Park, 1040 Washington Blvd., Stamford. The 4th Annual Hey Stamford! Food Festival returns on August 12-15 & 19-22. Bring your appetite as there will be 75 food trucks on hand over the course of two weekends. Presented by Leilo. Thu.-Fri. 3 p.m.-9 p.m., Sat.-Sun. 1 p.m.-9 p.m. $15-$35.
