May 1-31: Wethersfield
Downtown 4th Annual Bicycles on Main, Main Street, 200 Main Street, Wethersfield. Come visit the heart of Wethersfield’s historic and cultural district to see decorated bicycles in front of colonial homes, museums, and the local shops, restaurants, and businesses all on one walkable/bike-able street! 8:00am8:00pm, FREE
May 4: Farmington
May Market, Hill-Stead Museum, 35 Mountain Road, Farmington, CT 06032. One of the Farmington Valley’s finest and longest-running springtime celebrations returns to Hill-Stead Museum. May Market is Hill-Stead’s annual home, garden and gourmet event featuring premium exhibitors, rare and unusual plants. Adults $10, children (12 and under) free.
May 4: Cheshire
Suburban Garden Club of Cheshire’s May Market and Plant Sale, Cheshire Youth Center , 559 South Main St., Cheshire. The market will include a variety of beautiful plants including perennials and annuals grown in sterile, soilless mixes. There will also be a selection of tomatoes, herbs, lettuce and other vegetables. The market will also feature a great selection of items perfect for Mother’s Day, teacher’s gifts and more handcrafted by our members including gift cards, lavender sachets and gardener’s hand scrub, as well as a garden-related tag sale. Representatives from Master Garden Associates will be on hand to answer gardening questions. 9 a.m.-1 p.m.

May 18-19:
Branford
Mini Golf at Blackstone Library & Mini Golf After Hours, James Blackstone Memorial Library, 758 Main Street, Branford. The entire family can come out and play on Saturday, May 18 from 10 am-4 pm, and Sunday, May 19, from 1 pm-3 pm. Tickets are $5 per person and include golf putter (available in different sizes) and golf ball. Families will enjoy seeing the variety of obstacles and decorations at each hole, and experience the thrill of the 18th hole, which travels down the stairs, going from one floor to another! $5 for the day event and $30 for the evening event 21+, 10 a.m.
May 18: Suffield
Suffield Garden Club’s 46th Annual May Market, PhelpsHatheway House & Garden, 55 S Main St , Suffield. A variety of vendors offer potted plants, trees, and shrubs, as well as practical tools and garden supplies at the May Market. The ever-popular Collectibles and Member Plant booths have something for everyone! Geraniums grown by the Suffield AgriScience Program sell out quickly, so be sure to purchase these colorful additions to your porch boxes as soon as you arrive. The Market is held rain or shine! FREE
