We expect candidates to have excelled in what they have done so far and we are looking for candidates who show potential to learn more. There is no requirement for a background in IT/software. An aptamer is a short, single strand of laboratory-created DNA that flexes and folds into dynamic 3D structures. Their small size (10x smaller than an antibody) enables transport across the blood brain barrier and deeper tissue penetration.

PentaBind’s AI platform incorporates multiple drug-like qualities in one step of aptamer design and a recent study demonstrated that their model identified 300x more hits than wet-lab aptamer design, saving an estimated 38 years.
