Guidelines for Graduates during the Commencement Ceremony for the Academic Year 2020 On behalf of His Majesty the King, Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn will graciously preside over the Mae Fah Luang University Commencement Ceremony for the Academic Year 2020 on Monday, 28 February 2022 at C4 Auditorium, Mae Fah Luang University. To ensure the smooth commencement ceremony and safety of all participating graduates as well as to prevent the spread of the Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19), Mae Fah Luang University declares the guidelines for graduates in preparation for attending the commencement ceremony as follows: 1. Graduates of the academic year 2020 are required to fill out information via the Commencement Ceremony Registration System from 11 January – 14 February 2022. 2. Graduates of the academic year 2020 who intend to attend the commencement ceremony are required to have received at least two doses of COVID-19 vaccines specified by the government or specified doses of other vaccines approved by the Food and Drug Administration 14 days before the registration day in order to be eligible to participate in the commencement ceremony. 3. In case that graduates have not received vaccines as stated in No.2, graduates can request the postponement of the commencement ceremony to the academic year 2021 through the system stated in No.1. 4. Graduates of the academic year 2020, who intend to attend the commencement ceremony and will travel from other provinces, are required to strictly follow the order of the Chiang Rai Communicable Disease Committee on measures for travellers travelling from other provinces to Chiang Rai.

5. Graduates who intend to attend the commencement ceremony are required to undergo the Antigen Test Kit (ATK) testing provided by the University. The details of testing are as follows: 5.1 The first testing: registration day If the ATK test result is positive, a graduate has to take the RT-PCR test to confirm the results again. If the RT-PCR test result is positive, a graduate shall request the postponement of the commencement ceremony to the academic year 2021. If the RT-PCR test result is negative, a graduate shall register and attend the rehearsal as soon as s/he gets the result. 5.2 The second testing: final rehearsal If the ATK test result is positive, a graduate shall request the postponement of the commencement ceremony to the academic year 2021. If a graduate has any suspected symptom or is at high risk of disease or need final decision, the Chairman of commencement ceremony committee shall have the power to decide the issues through the approval from the committee for the Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) prevention and the rehearsal committee. The Chair’s decision shall be final. 6. Graduates, who intend to attend the commencement ceremony, travelled from abroad and undergone quarantine in the Alternative State Quarantine, are required to present the proof of quarantine to the University on the registration day and take the COVID-19 screening. 7. Graduates who intend to attend the commencement ceremony are required to present themselves to the rehearsal subcommittee and attend all rehearsals according to the date and time scheduled by the University. Graduates are required to strictly follow other rules related to the commencement ceremony which will be announced by the University later. 8. Graduates are required to strictly follow this guideline. Graduates who fail to comply with this guideline are ineligible to participate in the commencement ceremony.

MFU Commencement Ceremony for Academic Year 2020 Monday, 28 February 2022
On behalf of His Majesty the King, Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn will graciously preside over the Mae Fah Luang University Commencement Ceremony for the Academic Year 2020 on Monday, 28 February 2022 at C4 Auditorium, Mae Fah Luang University, Chiang Rai, Thailand. To ensure the utmost success during the MFU Commencement Ceremony, the following is a schedule for all graduates during the ceremony. Please kindly inform that, all graduates must present and attend all activities (25-27 February 2022) listed below.

- Skirts should not be tight or low-waist or too long or too short. - Formal long dresses are allowed. - Pants are not allowed. - Black leather shoes covering heels without lace or ornaments and with a maximum of 3-inch heel height (graduates should wear shoes that will be worn for the Commencement Ceremony)
Important Information Other Requirements for Graduates : • Wear earth-tone makeup such as brown, orange, pink and natural colour • Do not wear false eyelashes • Do not wear contact lenses • Do not have long or painted fingernails • Female graduates are not allowed to wear brassiere having steel wire • Do not wear rings, watches and any accessories • If graduates have dental braces, only white, transparent or silver braces are allowed. • If graduates wear glasses, only transparent lenses and black, brown, silver, gold glasses frames without decorations are allowed. Fashion glasses such as big frame or big temples are not allowed. Prohibited Items at the Auditorium on Final Rehearsal and the Commencement Ceremony Day : • Bags, banknotes, coins and any kinds of card • mobile phones and any communication device • Any electronic gadgets such as iPod/iPad/MP3/Flash drive/ Tablet • Car keys and any type of keychains • Jewellery such as necklaces, pendants, amulets, earrings, watches, bangles, bracelets, anklets, brooches, rings, threads, sacred threads and wristbands • Candy, chewing gum, snacks, inhalants, balms and artificial tears • Cigarette, tissues, oil blotting sheets, lipsticks, powder compacts • Stationary such as notebooks, books, notepads, pens, pencils, etc. • Weapons, sharp objects and any flammable materials Remark: Graduates who dress inappropriately will be ineligible to participate in the commencement ceremony. Graduates who intend to attend the commencement ceremony are required to strictly comply with guidelines specified by the University.
