For more than a decade (since 1999), IMVF works in Global Citizenship Projects having expertise in the following areas:
EU Member-States
FORMAL EDUCATION Acknowledging the key role of teachers in Global Citizenship Education, IMVF works with teachers in several schools from all over the country and in universities using innovative methodologies and addressing several sustainable development themes. ADVOCACY Policy Coherence for Development, Socially Responsible Public Procurement, MDGs and Sustainable Development are key issues in our work with decision and policy makers. In former projects IMVF has worked closely with members of the National Parliament, civil servants and also with members of the European Parliament, never forgetting the important role that Local Authorities play in the promotion of a more just and sustainable world. CAMPAIGNING Innovation is a key word for us in this area. We work with new methodologies and new target groups, spreading the global citizenship values to those that traditionally are most distant to what we do in the Development Sector. (Ej.) www.connected4betterworld.org/
