The St. Tammany Chamber of Commerce presents the Explore Northshore Business & Community Expo. With nearly 100 exhibitors, the Expo offers visitors a one-stop shop for information about goods and services available to them something for all ages. Blood drives, food drives and other similar events are often held during the Expo.

30 by Ninety presents “Six, The Musical” (Teen Edition)

The concert series features nationally touring acts throughout the year, focusing on artists from the worlds of indie rock, folk, country, jazz, blues and more. Performances are acoustic or lightly amplified, in a Bohemian-style, smokefree, 124-seat venue. Northshore Oktoberfest 2024 by A Rhea of Hope

Northshore Oktoberfest is a traditional, German, family-friendly Oktoberfest that is also a fundraiser and awareness event for cholangiocarcinoma (bile duct cancer). Enjoy German food and Biergarten, live music and family fun, and a “Bile Duck Depot” store with a variety of fun ducks for sale. There will be interactive songs and dances for all, a photo booth, German games, trivia, and a Kinderplatz (children’s place) with lots of fun for all ages.

Real Superheroes of Safe Harbor Gala
Saturday, September 21, 7-11 p.m.
One of the premier events on the Northshore, the efforts of all “candidates” are celebrated and the Real Superhero of the Year is revealed. The event benefits the Safe Harbor Domestic Violence Program. Admission is $100 in advance ($125 at the door) and includes live music by The New Orleans Mystics, a catered dinner, an open bar, dancing, a performance by the Pussyfooters, live and silent auctions, and an opportunity to mingle and dance with guests at a superhero themed party. Mixed Media Exhibit at Slidell Cultural Center

St. Tammany Parish Fair
October 3-6, Wednesday and Thursday, 5-10 p.m.; Friday, 10 a.m.-4 p.m. and 5 p.m.-midnight; Saturday, 11 a.m.-midnight, and Sunday, 11 a.m.-6 p.m.
Celebrating 115 years of St. Tammany culture in 2024! The fair features a rodeo, Fair Queen/Princess and Rodeo Queen pageants, talent showcases, agricultural and horticultural exhibits, music, food, and of course, the ever-popular carnival rides. Live music is featured on the Main Stage Thursday through Sunday. The rodeo happens on Friday and Saturday. General Admission is free Wednesday, Thursday and Sunday; on Friday and Saturday, admission is $5 for ages 12+, $3 for ages 11 and under. Midway wristbands are $25 on Wednesday and Thursday, and Friday until 4 p.m. ($30 from 5-11 p.m.). Admission is $30 Saturday and Sunday. Admission to both the Rodeo and Wild West Show is $15 for age 13+, $10 for children 12 and under.

Unleashed! Rescue Me Gala

Northshore Humane Society will host its annual “Unleashed! Rescue Me” Gala at Covington Country Club sponsored by Keesler Federal Credit Union. The gala will be fully catered by some of our area’s finest restaurants and guests will enjoy live music, silent and live auctions and the very popular cork pull. Individual tickets are $125 in advance or $150 at the door.The funds raised from the gala will have a direct impact on the no-kill rescue and the programs and services it offers.

Bluesberry Music & Art Festival

This full-day celebration of blues music and the arts will feature a stellar lineup of regional and national talent on two stages, live art demonstrations and artisan crafts booths, a photo booth, beer garden, cooling station, Children’s Village, and food trucks serving up their signature dishes, but with a blueberry spin on some old favorites. Fall for Art is a celebration of music, art and performing arts in historic downtown Covington. Fall for Art is a free festival held in the streets of the city’s historic downtown district. Produced by St. Tammany Art Association, the annual event draws hundreds of patrons who come out to enjoy the live music, art demonstrations, performances and dining in numerous participating locations.

Northshore Beer Festival

Get ready to experience an array of craft beers from local breweries and a day filled with great brews, tasty food trucks, and live music at the first Northshore Beer Festival. Admission is $50 or $100 for VIP entry, and $10 for designated drivers. Proceeds benefit the Miracle League Northshore, a local Covington non-profit whose mission is to promote the health and well-being of children with disabilities.

Monster Mash celebrates 36 years this October as a community-beloved fall family festival for the Northshore community. A fundraiser in support of the STHS Parenting Center, Monster Mash features a fun and safe Halloween experience, complete with trick-ortreating, music, cookie decorating, crafts, carnival rides and much more. Madisonville Wooden Boat Festival

Presented by Maritime Museum Louisiana, this fun family festival attracts over one hundred classic boats, hundreds of spectator boats and wooden boats and music enthusiasts for this two-day celebration. The festival offers tons of fun for kids of all ages, including arts and crafts booths lined along Water Street, the Quick ‘n Dirty Boat Building Contest and Parade. Sunset Symphony on the Lake: An Evening with the LPO

The City of Mandeville invites guests to experience the power and passion of live music performed by the Louisiana Philharmonic Orchestra (LPO), conducted by Matthew Kraemer, who is quickly making his mark among young American conductors for his inspired performances and versatility. Formerly known as Rockin’ the Lake, this free festival on the Mandeville lakefront features live music on multiple stages, artists’ booths and a selection of food trucks.
