Aspect ratio is 8:1 (rounded to the nearest whole number) with 3840 x 480 pixels to LED point calculated for a one to one output. The MAN display is in a hallway where people can walk by and see the display surface almost too closely, though the 4mm PP (pixel pitch) is marketed as indoor LED surface (4 meter viewing distance).

10m Viewing Distance Artworks The primary platform that media wall run of is Derivative TouchDesigner. In addition the files that media wall can run are any video media, mp4, and/or Unity, and /or Processing files. In regards to limitations we have only one Kinect2 attached to the system. Although this does give us a window of interactivity it is not what we have envisioned. Currently we are implementing openPTrack, a volume based tracking system that can follow as many as 20 people simultaneously. We want to use the new Intel© Real Sense ZR300 cameras with it. There are currently “hooks” to Derivative Touch Designer and openPTrack. This is the way we plan to go for interactivity. Implementing this technology will allow for many interesting options and possibly offer a standardized approach to what we do with other installations.
