It was told in《Laozi》Chapter 12th, “Colours lead to blind, music lead to deafness ” It’s a warning of the sensory addiction.

Namely, excessive sensory dependence will cause the paralysis of sence. Art is to arouse your inspiration with the least of stimulus. Therefore, sensory stimulation is not the purpose in Chinese Art. If the melody is a sense, the sense would be a means, while the interesting of playing is the ultimate purpose.

Endless Desire collection_Ideas

I have this collection presented in London Fashion Scout last year on 17 September 2017 and made a splash.

The experience of the show was great, but the failures I have in the process were whats really taught me a lot. Therefore, I am going to present the truest ups and downs in the preparing term, included the once I been knocked out of the school selection.

I failed and was asked for a brand-new outďŹ t with judges’ suggestions in a week.

The suggestions were said to be more dramatical and bloody.

Endless Desire collection_Ideas Soon I found out that wss far from what I want to create, so I review the movie and re-organize my thought.

What I fond of the mivie was the conflicts of the role’s angel-alike appearance and the wounded, cruel inner mind.

Fujishima Kanako, the unique and most beautiful creature in the world. It must be you the only reason for me to be a human on earth.

She is tender to everyone, but also cruel. She could destroy you.

I would do everything to be with her.

Wounded, Tattered, Nightmare.

I’m glad you like me, but it was not the real me you fall in love with.

The real me always hiding in my dreams. It’s unrestrained in dreams, to love someone, or kill.

Statement of the purpose/goals of the project/

2018

Study Proposal_Preparation The project I planned for the later collection.

The study will contain how feminism contributed to fashion changes over the past decade. The purpose of my project is to launch a womenswear collection in 2019SS issuing modern feminism.

A description of the subject matter/ My subject matter will include the films and books with background time from 1990-2017. To contrast my findings of the feminism-revolution in the books, I will research magazine articles and autobiographies written about feminism that were published in 20 century. To have the contours of womenswear over the past decade, I will reference some collections of noted historical brands, such as Chanel, Dior, etc.. I am going to analyze the contours, fabrics, style, details that may symbolic contemporary feminism in the collections.

A Description of my proposed research methodology/ For my research, I am going to read the contemporary feminists’ literary works, the films and works that may imply misogyny to comprehend the ideology of feminism nowadays. The analysis and the study of feminism will help me to understand the evolution of feminism in the past decades, and to conduct a collection which presents my thoughts of modern feminism and the ideal gender-equal environment.

An explanation of its relevance to myself/ girly.

In the age of junior high, I was bullied by female classmates in the reason of being too

Entering the all-girl high school, I saw the environment without gender differences and misogyny.

In college, I majored in fashion design with the majority of female. In this semi-fashion world, we respected and competed with others in any gender.

In 2016, there were a sexual assault committed in our campus. I was pretty shocked by the news, while a male friend responded, ”That girl shouldn’t drink that much.” I was like being punched back to the reality. The situation of females is better than usual but far from good enough. Since then, I started to observe the society in female’s view, and inspect myself in social conditions.

In the past, I wanted to be a graceful and tender woman, regarded being praised by others as primary. In 2015, I started to learn philosophy. At the beginning of learning, I was so desperate to be intellect and strong that I wish to abandon my characteristics of sensitive and attentive, while being insufferable with mind vulnerability.

After a while of desperation, I saw the blind spot that of all standing I belittle my advantages to persuade the characteristics I don’t own! Therefore, I focus on developing self-potentiality. Being sensitive and attentive, I could transfer the emotional worlds with my creations, and also built up the characteristics in the workings of complexity and variability, which belonged to me as a female with emotions, vulnerability and love.

To me, the evolution of my ego-development was just the experience of a girl like me turning to a woman. At the start of self-doubting and denying, we observed and imitated to search for identity, to the final part of self-viewing, admiration and tolerance.

Thinking process/ I have smattering of the feminism evolution after my basic research.

In the past women spread the notion of “We are as good as men.” and promoted females to take male’s social responsibility, while being unable to extricate ourself from “Women’s Duties”. Feminist spoke from Party B (from Male’s Party A), preaching women to develop the praised masculine characteristics, like intellect and audacity, in patriarchal society, to prove the abilities’ equality of gender, and cast off the women’s given characteristics.

There were revolutions and changes from past to modern Feminism. Some advocated sex-positive feminism like Madonna, some abandoned the goal of mother with phallus as the ideal of independent women. We acted what we wanted to present. We can be tender and assertive, introvert and sexy, intellect and keen with bravery. We own the right to decide what to be. It is all about choice.

Conclusion for now/ As a modern woman, we shaked of the limits of gender and sexual opposition, focus on individual ego. There were either female’s duties nor male’s responsibilities, human in any gender have the right to deicide what to become.

We accepted the fact that we were essentially different from man. Women understood the advantages and disadvantages of themselves, and developed the talents of their own.

Each gender ended up to be an ego instead of a gender.
