01
PromotionalPoster Conceptually, inspiration came in form of Mexican folk art. Particularly, the very famous Alebrijes. Textiles from the Oaxaca region were also a source of inspiration.

PRINT DESIGN
Design Matters
Based on the megatrend Design Matters for autumn / winter 2017 & 2018, a 40 cm x 40 cm repeat was developed where four colors interplayed to create a dynamic pattern in which forms are simplified and negative space is embraced. An ode to the Memphis Movement, the oversized scales help with the abstraction of the pattern. 07

MUTUAL CORE PRINT DESIGN
Moodboard + Print Sample 09
Mutual Core Mutual Core is a fashion + print design project. Science was a constant theme, specifically microbiology. Aditional inspiration came from Biophilia, seventh album of islandic artist Bjรถrk. Waterproof textiles were used in the clothing design and an original digital print was created.

An Extempore As part of my thesis, I collaborated with photographer Bรกrbara Vidaurri in an editorial showcasing the graduate collection. VISUAL MERCHANDISING
As part of my academic exchange at Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology, a Visual Merchandising Directive was made for australian brand Gorman, for their autumn 2015 collection.

Look Three
The outfits selected represent key themes in prints, patterns and colors in GORMAN’s autumn 2015 collection. All three outfits contrast colors and patterns, and are paired with garments with a neutral color palette (solid colors) so the prints can stand out within their respective outfits. Another intent is to show the versatility of the printed garments. Certain themes that can work cohesively with these outfits are: sustainability (play and expand a bit more what GORMAN is already exploring), the works of Henri Matisse, Memphis Group, Russian Constructivism, Bahaus, and Design (in this case fashion) as art.

OK OK + KINDLING
OK OK + Kindling Two window displays were design and constructed for australian brands OK OK and Kindling, who share a store in the Brunswick area of Melbourne. The window displays were part of their “Bling on a String campaign which aimed to protest for taxes on female sanitary products in Australia. It was requested by the owners of both brands that tampons were used as part of their displays.
