38th Annual San Francisco Comedy Competition Semi-Finals Saturday, September 28, 2013 at 8pm The San Francisco Comedy Competition is one of the most prestigious comedy contests in North America—launching the careers of Ellen DeGeneres, Dana Carvey, and Rob Schneider, among many others. Hundreds of comedians line-up each year to compete, but only 30 are chosen. (In its first year, Robin Williams came in 2nd!) It seems like yesterday that brothers Jake and Elwood Blues, played by John Belushi and Dan Aykroyd in the hit movie “The Blues Brothers,” invited the world to join them on a “mission from God.” Now, 30 years later, the Blues Brothers live on in The Official Blues Brothers Revue, starring Wayne Catania as Jake and Kieron Lafferty as Elwood. The Official Blues Brothers Revue combines the comedy, music and mayhem from the original movie, as well as songs from the five albums put out by John Belushi and Dan Aykroyd. $45/$35

Purchasing Tickets Season Tickets Discounted season ticket packages are available in person or by phone for the Symphony Pops Series and the Clover Stornetta Family Fun Series. Reprints Lost, damaged, or stolen tickets may be reprinted for reservedseating performances only and will be available for pick-up one hour prior to the performance. Please present your current picture ID to the ticket office associate. There is a $2 per ticket reprint fee.

Resale For your own security, we strongly recommend that you do not purchase tickets from any supplier other than Wells Fargo Center for the Arts. Only tickets purchased directly from Wells Fargo Center for the Arts can be guaranteed, and tickets purchased from any other source are done so at your own risk and may be deemed invalid. The re-sale of tickets on Wells Fargo Center for the Arts property is strictly prohibited.

Venue Information The Ruth Finley Person Theater is a 1600 seat venue where no seat is more than 75 feet from the stage, creating an intimate environment for you to enjoy your favorite performer.

For season ticket packages, a one-time $9 handling fee will be added to your order. For single ticket purchases, a 15% per ticket handling fee will be added to your order when purchasing online or by phone (except for Family Series shows, which have a 10% fee). Accessible seating for patrons with mobility limitations are located in several locations on the main floor of the theater. Wheelchair accessible restrooms are also available on the main floor level. Please contact the ticket office to purchase tickets, or notify us of any special needs, so we can help make your experience exceptional.

Ticket Limit Limit of eight (8) tickets per performance per person (regardless of the number of transactions). Ticket purchases are closely monitored and any tickets purchased above the limit will be voided without notice.

Refunds and Exchanges All ticket purchases are final.

Assisted Listening Devices ALDs are available at no cost to our patrons. Please notify the ticket office upon arrival.
