Spectrum Lubricants is expanding its Selmer facility and adding 26 new jobs, Spectrum President and Chief Operating Officer Kent Farmer announced at a press conference last Monday. The company has purchased a nearby building that used to house an apparel factory. It will invest $1.8 million in the facility. Spectrum is already hiring workers for their new building through employment agencies, Farmer said. Spectrum is located at 500 Industrial Park Drive, and the 26 new jobs will be in addition to the approximately 200 people that Spectrum now employs. The new building will give Spectrum 10.4 acres and nearly 55,000 square feet of warehouse capacity, Farmer said.
