From porter to patient liaison officer
FREEDOM Ngcobo started working at Jackpersad & Partners Inc in 2012, at the age of 21. From starting as a porter to now being the patient liaison officer, Ngcobo credits his success to director and radiologist, Dr IG Moodley, who he believes saw his potential and gave him the opportunity to join the company as a porter. “I grabbed the opportunity with both hands and never took the role of being a porter for granted. I have a passion for helping people, and I always continue to excel in taking care of our patients with the utmost love and compassion they deserve.
“Earlier this year, a new role for patient liaison officer (PLO) was advertised. I decided to apply – and was the successful applicant. Today, I am proud to say that from a porter, I am now a PLO living my dream of serving our patients and flying the Jackpersad & Partners Inc flag high.

“I will forever be grateful to Dr Moodley and Jackpersad & Partners Inc for providing me with the tools and support to grow and develop myself, and therefore achieve my goals. It is more than a company to me; they are my family who have built me up to be the man I am today.
“I thank God daily for the opportunity that was given to me 10 years ago to be a part of such a special team, and I am so proud to be celebrating our 25th anniversary together.”
